This video is completely wrong. I am a civil- water resources Engg. student from the IIT Madras. It will go vertical when there is a pressure difference. Coconut will be in equilibrium when there is no ground water. If suppose ground water is there, and if we move to that location, there is more pressure at coconut bottom due to ground water. So coconut go vertical. We can get to know that there is an aquifer nothing but a ground water reservoir. Our Newton's 3rd law will applicable here.
And his explanation is completely wrong, he made this video to scold our Hinduism. Coconut will be completely filled with water, how the centre of gravity shifts to one side if you move. For example if partially filled water tanker moves, due to acceleration the center of gravity shifts. In coconut it's not like that. It is like nindu kunda. There will be no shifting of CG.
