You deserve more subscribers and more views. Man, I've been watching Looker Studio tutorials but still, I couldn't quite get it, until I watched your video. Pretty simple, straight to the point, and short, but someone who does not have a background in data analytics can learn a lot. You're not just good at it, you're also a good teacher.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that. Your feedback motivates me to continue creating educational content. If you have any specific questions or topics you'd like me to cover in future videos, feel free to let me know. Thanks again for your support!

Great tutorial! I have a lot, and I am ready to get started with looker studio. How did you sort the month (Jan - Dec) in the Order-Trend(month) chart?
Thank you. The content is qualitative. 1)Do you mind me asking how long it took you to think about the design and generally produce this dashboard? 2)Do you think it possible to replicate somthing similar in an email as a weekly report? Many thanks
Thanks for the great work! It's really comprehensive and to the point at the same time! I'd like to bring to your attention that in all of the three pie charts, i.e. orders by region: the legend is missing, we can't identify which regions those percentages belong to.
i want to create a comparison report of conversion rate between new users and returning users. Is this possible? I mean how many users converted from new users count and how many converted from returning user count. Please help
In this case, we used the count function because all the order IDs are unique. When we use count in this context, it is equivalent to counting distinct values. If there were duplicates in the order ID column, we would specifically use the count distinct function.
Hello, thank you for sharing your knowledge. However, at 17:00mins you had the months not in chronological order and the next second you fixed it. I have the same issue and I would like to know how you fixed this please. :)
Hello, thank you for watching my videos! To solve that, when you create your chart and select the proper data, you will need to click on your chart. After that, in the top right corner, you will see 3 dots. Click on those dots and a menu will appear. From the menu, select the "Sort" option. Instead of the metric that you provided, click on the date dimension (e.g., order date). You can click once to sort by months in descending order, and if you click one more time, it will sort in ascending order. I hope this explanation helps! Best of luck!
Hi Sir,i want to make a report for a online store. Here i want to show month wise sells for Individual customer purchased the product. So need to make a report Customer wise product purchased and total sells happened for the individual product in looker studio.Any guidance on this.Which Chart also i can use to show total sells happened by product category wise by individual customer purchased. Please guide me. I need help urgently on looker studio
Thank you for feedback! Data source should be find, but when you download it, you need to save it as CSV (UTF 8), not regular CSV, and not Excel. Then, you will be able to import that CSV file directly into Looker Studio. Also, second option is to import file first into Google Sheets, and then connect Google Sheets to Google Lookers Studio.
I can share only in view mode, so you will be able only to see it. If I share it in edit mode, anyone can edit and change the dashboard, so it wouldn't make sense.
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately it is not possible to use this dashboard in Google Sheets. However, it is possible to create similar dashboard in Google Sheets.

Why did you use count and not count distinct for your order ID?
