Hooray for a new video for the second channel! Oh man, I so wish I could have made it to one of those Halloween concerts, but thanks for letting us tag along virtually through these vids. Hopefully I’ll be able to see another of your concerts soon!
Wow, great job there ladies! Love the interview there in Savannah GEORGIA, it was definitely intresting and fun to watch, and I also loved your Halloween custom has well. I think that your interview with the person there went on air on television news network all around in Savannah and outside of it too, so now you all including your mom are famous down south. All the answers that you all gave to the interviewer were definitely the truth about yourselves and what you both are all about has a person has well harpist and that was very cool and always intresting to hear. Have a good one!
My family lived in Argentina for awhile when I was 10 years old, mostly in Rosario, up the river from Buenos Aires, and I remember the above-ground cemeteries with ornately carved stonework and stone-paved walkways, the fountains and benches and flowers. I remember asking why, why and why and Mom and Dad trying to explain the concept of culture and finally just saying that was the way it was done here. Oh: I could understand that. I also remember the many plazas with fountains, flowers and trees and the wonderfully intricate stone walkways, really like mosaics, located throughout the city in every neighborhood. Since my sister and I didn’t speak the language well enough we didn’t go to school so we pretty much ran wild for two years, exploring with Mom. Get on a bus or tram in the morning and somehow make it home in the evening. I remember espresso carts that seemed to be on every street corner and people rushing from one cart to another on their way to wherever they were going. It was only when I tried espresso that I understood their haste. . .
If the Bonaventure Cemetery invites the Harp Twins next year, I'll be there. Would love it if it became a tradition to host a Harp Twin concert each Halloween. I recommend to all in the Savannah region to come see them.
Always fun to see you ladies perform and to listen to your interviews. They are always fun and witty I don't know which I enjoy more. You have a light that shines regardless of what you do. Over the top class and beauty.
Such a Spooktacular interview and so interesting to view👌👏Well done Gothic Goddesses🖤🖤🥰🥰 and 👏 Shannon for his illuminating chat with you two 😍😍 Legends👌👏 Feels like 🎃🕸🦇 all over again! 👌😉
John Broadway ~ Thank you for your sweet support, John! We had fun with the interview and we are grateful Shannon gave us the go-ahead to share with all of you! Sending love and big hugs, x2
That's cool, old soul's huh lol! I see you both were really excited over the history part, it is very interesting to learn about that kind of stuff and dwell upon it. I've noticed the slight differences in your personalities for some time but, I think it's a very beautiful part of who you are as individuals. Every person as C.S. Lewis stated is a soul after all, very informative interview. Thank you for sharing your most pleasant online presence in the form of a video x2, this made my night and gave me a big smile. 😊😊💙💙
I went to the cemetery in a ghost town. In the late 1800's a family lost three or four children over a few months, then again a number of years later. It's depressing to think that was not out of the ordinary back then. A non-profit group maintains that cemetery.
Just discovered your videos - loved Immigrant Song, Fear of the Dark, Closer to the "Harp" Heart and of course One - as well as many more - been binging on them the last 2 days. After watching this interview, wondered if you considered an arrangement for The Allman Brothers "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed"? Dickie Betts said he took the name of the song from a headstone in Rose Hill Cemetery

Gleeful you ladies were here down south with the Spanish moss and cemeteries, close to my neighborhood! I love discovering your inspirations and the essence of your creative drive! Indeed a different type interview, one I have awaited, and one that brings me closer to you as artists. Thank you so much for posting this interview. Harp Twins are not only an attribute to the musical arts, but friends I admire, relate and love x 2!
Very intesting interview. I'm a fan of ruins, too, so I know exactly what you feel when being in these old places. Living in the middle of Europe, we have Roman and Celtic ruins dating back 2000 years. I live near a small mountain with an ancient celtic fortified settlement on it, dating back to 130 BC. I love being there. 😊 "Collective individuality", I like this term. 😊Never let anyone tell you what's normal or what the standard is. You're yourselves, and that's all that counts. Your fans love you for it, and the people that don't... well, everbody has their right of opinion, as long as they don't try to force it upon others. Stay as you are, it's perfect the way it is. 👍👍
Very interesting interview. I loved your performance at this venue. Excellent choice for a Halloween evening performance! Your friend, the Grim Reaper. :-)

Great outfits! Showing the paint it black video to a friend he recognized the cemetery immediately and showed me some pics from there on his phone from his time in Savannah. Keep up the great music, outfits and locations!
A very interesting story. One thing about visiting cemeteries, you can learn your family history. Many years ago, my parents and I visited Mount Vernon, the home of George Washington. We visited the cemetery there, and Mom saw two graves of people with her maiden last name. Later, she traced her family to a General who fought with George Washington, which enabled her to join the Daughters of the American revolution.
Déjà vu? I feel like I have seen this video before. Maybe not on your channel? I clearly remember it. Nonetheless, I loved the interview! I hope to make it there one day! Maybe if you can get back there this coming Halloween? Thanks for sharing all of your fun stuff with us!!
Speaking of cemeteries, my family and I visited a few when we vacationed in Germany where we have ancestors from. They were very well maintained but sadly not too many headstones from centuries ago. Families pay annually to have a loved one in them . You're both very great! Glad you do what you do.
The more I learn about these girls. The more I am fascinated because so many reasons but my mother told me one time. You are the only child I have. That likes to walk. With me through these old cemeteries. I told her mom. I love old cemeteries. But I never thought to say Spooktacular😁🌹🌹7 phenomenal I wasn't even. Finished with this video when I wrote that. I wonder if they have ever been to the Key West Cemetery. Because they took the bodies from one Cemetery and moved them into the other. And I had a very strange experience. Sitting at a Old Navy captains grave I talk too much sometimes. Wow. I'm speechless. But I can't shut up. We buried my dad on Halloween 1974 nobody wanted me to go trick or treating. But I had already made my costume. I was Dracula. Well, my mother made the cape. Great job. Mom I told her I had read somewhere. The inside should be white. So when you open it. You get maximum shock effect. She didn't have white. So it was red. Still maximum shock effect😈
Son of a gun... I used to live in Brunswick Georgia but moved to Kansas when I got out of the army I would've definitely made the trip to Savannah ( which is by the way the name of my brothers daughter ) to see y'all. You two are fabulous and I'm surprised I am just now hearing about you. Keep looking gorgeous and keep those amazing videos coming..... p.s. if you ever make it to any part of Kansas I will definitely be at your concert.
what a lovely interview I didn`t realize you were Goths as well as beautiful Harpists, you really are the full package, although package is maybe the wrong description, so I guess the most beautiful identical twins in the world who are the best Harpists in the world describes you better. Best regards and Love to you both from John in England.
C&K, I don't know if anyone has told you; the Goth thing looks very good on you, but unlike most Goths, there just isn't any "dark" in you two! Normal? Did he say normal? Ya'll don't need normal- you two are the Harp Twins ; no normal required! A thought; Savannah and several older cities in the South do keep as much of their "old"- but Dallas(where I live now), Houston, and Miami don't do very well; there is a lot of "it's twenty or thirty years old, lets knock it down because we can build a new apartment for higher rent. Loved growing up in New Orleans- throughout most of the Orleans Parish part of the city, you can find and hug architecture that is 3-400 years old. It gives you a cleared sense of your own place in ever moving history. When will you "do Dallas"?
Big fan of these girls I've bought their music on Amazon...I think they do a great job ...my wife doesnt like them much ..she says I stare too hard I'm like yeah ...look at how good they play lol anyway great job
tepoztli tlacatl ~ Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and kind words. We'd love to meet your wife! We hope you can come (together) to a concert someday. We think (hope) she'd be more comfortable after meeting us and seeing us in person. :) :) We are different in "real" life than a lot of people expect. We have a good number of couples and even families at all our shows because we play even better than TH-cam shows and we are very safe! ;) ;) Give her a hug for us! We know you are a good guy! All of our real community is!
I love the dedication of these girls to music and their grandmother, really special people q god bless you and maybe one day I'll be able to meet you. bye
Hey, for a cool cemetery, see Newburgh Cemetery near Livonia, Michigan. The first two graves belong to veterans of the Revolutionary War. Last time I looked there was a cool video on-line about this place. Used to go there all the time, as a kid -- for the spooky fun of it, of course!
@@ВолеславФилин -- Hey, man. I'm ok. It's been a rough week. Mental health issues. I hope everything is going great with you and your health has improved. Take good care.
Gabriel Rodrigues ~ Thank you. We shared a link to Shannon's video of his interview of us on our Instagram. Shannon recently gave us permission to upload his video interview here, so we did. :) :)
Gabriel Rodrigues ~ So very sorry to hear that you have been going through a rough patch. Hoping and praying that each day will bring relief. Sending love and hugs, x2
There is a cemetery near me that dates from the mid-1800's that, as kids, visited many times at night. Most of the graves are the founding families in this area. Creepy, but cool.
Music has in cemeteries has a long tradition. As some of Scottish heritage. I have heard the bagpipe playing in many cemeteries many times. As a Kansan, have you ever heard of Boot Hill Cemetery? It might be a good background for a western song. Say one of Clint Eastwoods' older westerns. That or Tombstone, Arizona.
You made me think of the time the United States Navy sent me to Edzell Scotland; I rented a bike and headed towards a ruined castle; while riding, there was a beautiful lush green field on one side with a stone fence and a black forest on my right. As the smells of the forest and the sounds of the wildlife (black crows and hoot owls), there was a sense of fantasy. When I arrived at the castle and climbed among the ruins, you could look out over the meticulously kept gardens; I began visualizing all the childhood stories of Knights and Shining Armor and it dawned on me that not everything was fantasy. Love your outlook; James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
Love your music and am also a history enthusiast. I would love to see you ladies visit New Mexico. There are tons of ancient (well 400-500 year old) Pueblos, churches and missions) that you would probably enjoy. Not to mention the impact of NA Flute and Drum music might have on your creative process.
hey ladies, I get the feeling that if this video were done in monochrome (black and white), the result would be the same as looking at it in colour. a very stark contrast of black clothes and make-up on white twins 😄 as I've gotten older I've developed the same kind of appreciation for history and historic places, relics, etc. as they're great photographic subjects. love from Down Under. ❤❤
If you Ladies haven't done a video on Easter Island yet with the statues in the background, that would be awesome if that could manifest somehow. Endless miles of ocean and those ancient statues in such a video would be enchanting. (I know you're out there somewhere) by the Moody Blues comes to mind, Dust in the wind by Kansas also comes to mind. It would ultimately be your decision though. Take care! XOXOXO
I'm curious if you two have ever considered doing a shoot with a mirror effect where you are each other's reflection ? Not sure what the best songs might be for consideration , the concept just intrigues me . Cheers
Hello m'dears -- should you ever find yourself in Wayne County, Michigan, I'm quite sure you'd enjoy a visit to Newburgh Cemetery on Ann Arbor Trail. It's the oldest in Wayne County, and goes clear back to the Revolutionary war days. It isn't huge, just ... fascinating. As a kid, I used to hang out there all the time. (And "if I have to explain," etc. ...) ;)
You should see the cemeteries in Athens Ohio on the old rigges home of Ohio University. We have a awesome Halloween block party here every year. Is there is an old State hospital sanitarium that is really strange and creepy. You can also see the Athens Ohio Halloween block party on TH-cam.
You guys would love the cemeteries around my town. Rural western-central MA, so few people around. There are 7 here, but the one in my neighborhood was hard to find on any maps. It's very small, and mostly Revolutionary War veterans, no houses within sight of it, and a small, winding back road to get to it. It is kept up with, though - I see flags on some of the graves, and they keep the leaves clear (isn't much grass - it's mostly roots, and weeds from the pine needles of big pines that are growing there. Every cemetery here has real old stones, 1800's at a minimum, some from the 1700's, like the one in my neighborhood. Lots of history in MA ... if you can deal with the traffic and rude drivers as you get closer to Boston. 😁 That one near me that I spoke of is Cotter Cemetery, in North Brookfield, MA. www.findagrave.com/cemetery/90896/cotter-cemetery

hey ladies, I get the feeling that if this video were done in monochrome (black and white), the result would be the same as looking at it in colour. a very stark contrast of black clothes and make-up on white twins 😄
as I've gotten older I've developed the same kind of appreciation for history and historic places, relics, etc. as they're great photographic subjects. love from Down Under.
Take care! XOXOXO
During every trip I take I make a point to find the oldest cemetery in the area. Just love 'em
I'm curious if you two have ever considered doing a shoot with a mirror effect where you are each other's reflection ? Not sure what the best songs might be for consideration , the concept just intrigues me . Cheers

Harp Twins Career In Ruins ! But That’s A Good Thing !
I love cemeteries too.
That one near me that I spoke of is Cotter Cemetery, in North Brookfield, MA. www.findagrave.com/cemetery/90896/cotter-cemetery
