Oh boy you have lot a explainin to do. Lol I got so glued up Sunday it took 2 washing with dawn and then oil on my hands to get rid of the glue lol. I'm making the book cover or journal cover with my wallpaper samples. Lots of glue. I went with reckless abandon...

LOL! I remember my mum saying "you look like death warmed up."
One of her favourite sayings was "laughter is the best medicine. I usually read some of the comments and most viewers seem to appreciate your chatty, positive cheerfulness: it flows over to others and adds a spark to their day.
I like how the stamping changed the appearance of the mod flower pattern. It reminds me of old wallpaper or heavily embroidered furniture fabric. Great idea for using up those disliked patterns.

I loved learning to use a sanding block to knock back the shine from a greeting card. Thanks for the hint on what to do with all the leftover cards I have accumulated. I now make my own so I have just been storing the commercial ones.

As the grandchild of Italian and Irish immigrants I have had the same experience with not getting to learn their language because they had to speak English in order to survive here. And I grew up in the frozen north too (Maine) 😬 ✌🏻 I was looking for a mitten emoji but don’t see one 😁

Cool idea but not sure why at the beginning you wanted to choose the image since you cover it up anyway. I would have used the totally blank back and then used lighthouse somewhere else.
You could totally use the lighthouse elsewhere :) I have a ton of these lighthouse cards for some strange reason :)
Great ideas, however, i sure hated to see the beautiful lighthouse covered up. I love lighthouses..May I ask what kind of birds you have? I love birds also...Maybe I should watch your other videos you might talk about them. Hugs

We still have "Death warmed up" over here in the UK, meaning you look or feel rough. Like I did when I went into hospital withCovid-19, pneumonia and bronchiectasis :(

I thought I'd kept my secret, hoarded stash of envelopes, cards, scrapbook papers, journals, papers & more papers etc , etc until we had to move a 5 drawer file cabinet! over a few feet to allow a serviceman do some work. My husband exclaimed, "WHAT'S IN HERE??? I had to half unload it before my husband & I could budge it.

Pam, after our son passed 1 month ago today, I started using the many beautiful cards we received for journal cards, pockets, tucks, trimming the floral and many butterfly designs. I put them in my personal July & Aug. daily journal with pictures, etc. I didn't cover anything, all so pretty. I have tons of Mother's Day & Birthday cards from family & friends, so many pretty cards, just can't toss. Yours is a good idea for those that don't work that way. Now I will use those with your suggestions. So much paper to reuse/recycle. Thanks, have a beautiful day/week! Thanks for your daily ideas!!
Karen Bauer There are no words or phrases to say that provide any comfort for such a profound loss. We say, I am sorry for your loss simply because we do not know what else to say. I will then just say, I am glad you are using the cards you received in projects. A lovely tribute. May you continue to create beautiful things in spite of the horrific pain. @@karmaleenash2841 Thank you, it was the worst day of my life. He was 56, has a beautiful family and so much lost potential, his heart gave out while performing chores. A great loss, but I am heartened by the love and blessings of family and friends.

Pam, I have to tell you about my little multi-poo dog. Everyday when I watch your videos, she hears Holly and wants to be on my lap to see Holly. It happens every time Holly talks, whistles. It’s so cute. She thinks Holly is talking to her.

My Grandma was polish.
She was teenager during WW1
She told me that one day...she was standing with some friends and watching a group of Russian soldiers walk through her village.
One of them broke ranks when he saw her.
He came up to her and started to weep.
He said that she looked just like his daughter...who was waiting for him back home in his village in Russia.
He told Grandma that he was going to the front the next day...and he asked her to pray for him.
My Grandma never saw him again.
But she prayed for him every day...for the rest of her life.
When she told me that story she said that Russian is similar enough to Polish...that she could understand what he said.
But she couldn’t read Russian.
She could also understand Ukrainian...but again...couldn’t read it.
But she said that sometimes...when we need to say something to each other...the language won’t matter.
The meaning comes through.
I would really like to see Christmas cards! I was thinking of making cards with a pocket so your family photo could be removed to be put in a frame instead. I find that if you send a photo in the card people will at least keep it on their refrigerator. Most people with throw their Christmas cards away after a while.

Thank you for that. I must say, as someone who would like to see your subs double in number, ....... PLEASE stop talking once in a while......... I searched for "tutorials", not "stream of consciousness causing too many bad jokes". The strain of filling every millisecond with words distracts from the great work you do. They don't have to be just for journals. I can think of a few things to do with them. A pretty way to jot down a shopping list. Write a note on the back and send it now the recipient has a unique piece of art work.
Wonderful way to spend some time, when the weather is hot and muggy!
I love the heat, but for most people,

I have loads of sponsered cards, I've never sent and also, refuse to throw out! This will give them a second life!

I also love the heat and I didn't mind the humidity this year in Manitoba. I spend as much time outside as I can. Not so much fun in winter.
I love the inks and oxides equally. But I did make the mistake of using ink instead of oxide on the pens we covered. So it covered all the pretty paper I put down 😢. Oh well, lesson learned.

Silly man for sure. HeHe They never get it. If you really want to have some fun take Hubby with you to the craft shop and tell him you are looking for some pva glue.. He will pick up a small bottle of elmers or something but it will be small. When this happens say that will never do and reach down and pick up the gallon size. Be sure when you do this to be watching his face. It will be priceless. Ask me how I know. You got it I took my husband shopping. Didn't do this for a reaction, I really wanted the gallon size. Just happened to catch the look on his face.. My daughter calls me the Queen of Glue. For my birthday she gage me 1&1/2 lbs of Yes Glue. That blew my husband's mind too.

I am also Ukrainian mix! lol I do speak Ukrainian, Russian and German though. I am in North Dakota, where most of the old ones still speak Ukrainian so we all learned, but I guess I am old too lol almost 60
