    I have cuts (before their recent change into vanity child sizing) and wyr and I honestly like them both alot. WYR is very premium feeling and feels more sturdy almost like something a rich person would have worn decades ago if that makes. More substantial. But cuts is better for hotter days as it breathes easier. The only complaint I have with the WyR henley is I wish the armholes were a bit higher and tighter but otherwise its excellent.

    Hey man just want to say thank you for this vid. I just got my shirts today and they are legit the best shirts I have, I'll only be buying from Wyr Wear from now on. I loved CUTS but they were so expensive and really didn't hold up to well in the wash. Wyr was much more affordable, basically the same price as BYLT which I also own but am not a huge fan of the lux fabric and they fit me a little boxier. These Wyr shirts fit amazing and the material is great, super happy!

    • @AaronCronk
      @AaronCronk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So since this video they have made a couple changes for durability and the material feels slightly less thick, but they were breathable before and even more so now. One negative is that they don’t feel quite as soft as they used to either, but they shrink way less which is a huge benefit. They also made the collar smaller to prevent the bacon collar. I plan on making a version 2 video soon.

I know cuts is a bit pricey than wry, but cuts quality is unbeatable, I washed them many many times, and of course put them in dryer machine with high heat. I absolutely love the Niche you’ve found in the market. You make great videos.
    I’ve been desperately trying to find the perfect tee. Bought some alternative apparel shirts that you suggested which are nice and DEFINITELY afford, but the body is a LITTLE baggy for my taste in large and the medium is too tight. Tried Cuts, but the sleeves are too loose in the Tee. The Cuts long sleeve has perfect sleeves but it fits way tighter - honestly, they’re sizing is horribly inconsistent across all styles. Even tried Asket, no dice.
    Because of this video and the way it fits your body (which looks like it’s carved out of wood, you bastard), I have an order from Wyr on the way in medium and large and my fingers are desperately crossed.
    Thanks again for the content!

      What a nice comment brother, thank you! WYR is great another one to definitely check out is Rule of Threads, I actually like them more and more as time goes on. Id say the most snug arms out of all shirts without being restricting. WYR shrinks a bit in the wash so keep in mind it’ll be more snug after wash. Nothing crazy but noticeable.

      @@AaronCronk thanks for the info! I was about to order from Rule of Threads! I’m 6’3 185 and have a small, but very noticeable spare tire when the body is too tight.
      If you compared rule of threads to the alternative apparel shirts, would you say the length and width of the body are similar? Less? Ideally the length is the same but it’s just a hair more tapered.

And I swear I read that they had free returns, but I just looked it up now and I’m seeing $7 fee for 2 items or less and $10 for 3 or more. Any recommendations for plain tee's that are made in the USA? I used to like buying American Apparel tees, but they sold to Gildan and are now made over seas. I had the best luck with the way their cotton/poly tees fit, even if their fit wasn't always consistent. Some would be a little shorter than others. @@AaronCronk Thanks! I ordered 3 shirts. It wouldn't let me use your code because of the 3-pack deal.

    95% cotton, don’t they shrink easily?

    • @AaronCronk
      @AaronCronk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It did shrink a little but the shirts in the video were after they shrunk, because I washed them a few times before the video. They also recently implemented a new treatment or something to make them shrink less.

    There's no way I can fit that length, especially if it shortens. Tell the CEO to offer talls

      I'm not 'tall' level, but I feel like most of the shirts I buy I wish were an inch or two longer than they are.

    I have shirts from Cuts, BYLT and recently bought WYR after months of uncertainty. I have to say that I was really impressed with WYR. I like Cuts, but to me the quality is mediocre and doesn’t feel as soft. BYLT was a waste of money to me. The fabric literally is so hard it feels like cardboard. WYR hits right in the middle and I’ll be getting more shirts for sure. It’s really soft and comfortable. Plus I like the washed in faded look. All that for almost half the price of Cuts.

    Not true. Not at all. They used to be good. I was impressed with their curve crew T shirts that I received 3 weeks ago, so I ordered five more in different colors after I was notified they were restocked. The restocked curve crew t shirts are totally different from the previous ones. They feel extremely cheap and lighter, and thinner compared than the ones before. Did they intentionally downgrade them or did the QC unit and inspection team did not do their jobs? Anyway, they failed and it was hugely disappointing

      Well that’s not good, did you write to them? Def should give them this feedback. I knew they were changing a couple things like the collar, length etc but didn’t hear anything about a thinner material.

      Hi there - just wanted to clarify a few things in terms of our fabric upgrade:
      1- We did not change the spec / thickness of the fabric or anything about it other than adding a couple of extra treatments. We are still using the same gauge Egyptian Giza cotton.
      2- This iteration of fabric is by no means a cheaper alternative. It’s actually about 20% more expensive due to the added treatment steps.
      3- Changes to this fabric include an additional anti-pilling treatment so that it’s more durable and retains its features better after wash (which is why it may feel lighter even though it’s the same gauge of cotton) and an extra treatment for added softness.
      We made this decision as the previous treatment was not consistent across colors and was problematic in terms of sizing and feel (i.e. not all colors reacted the same way to the same level of treatment).
      We take a lot of pride in our fabric and our promise is that we would never cut corners that may compromise the quality of our product.
      I believe we have reached out as well via email, but feel free to reach out again with any questions or concerns!

    Honestly wore wyr and have to say that I’m not impressed because 1. Copycats (seriously, come up with your own ideas) 2. They are horrible, shrink fast and my first shirt literally died in my wash. 3. “Egyptian Cotton” is what 70% of clothing manufacturers use, nothing new. Good review tho, a little sus on why he choose to title the review like that
