- Addipted had the opportunity to dip a customer's 350Z with a Veilside body kit that he installed himself! The curves on this particular car were perfect for our pearl blue we added into black, returned a color we dubbed Midnight Blue!

I have the same kit molded to have no seams. I took off the upper deck on the wing as you did. I have the carbon fiber hood as well. Dipped black with glossifier over the top. Check out a pic of the Batmobile V7 project at a recent carshow.

It's not a "real" paint job.
Bin Xu It's not paint. It's Plasti Dip, that stuff that goes on tool handles like pliers

I had to cut front and rear to make room for the tires.

Did you use any glossifier or pearl with your black & blue & did you mix 50/50?
I'd have to check with the guys at Addipted I don't think they used any glossifier. They did use flat black with blue pearl though. The mix was less than 50/50 with more flat black.

They are Niche, 20x10.5 in the rear and 20x9 in the front.
the car with the legit flat paint job uses a base coat/ clear coat paint job. the only difference is that the clear gets a matte additive that allows you to control how flat you want to go. 350 is too sweet of a car to put that stuff on. just saying.
Where did you confiscate those rims from?
I had them custom made from a shop near home.

I don't get it why go to the trouble of masking the lights and door handles why not just remove them? That would create a much better end product
e4superfly Because Plasti Dip just peels off of stuff. There's no need to remove anything.
i've been a car painter since 1992. I would not do that to my car unless it was old and in desperate need of a quick paint job. The real way to do it is with quality products from standox, sikkens or ppg. the paint is real tough and resistant to scratches and harsh weather. it will cost big bucks. that's why I don't do that to my Z.
This post is not to hate on you guys. You did a great job. the car looks awesome. I just would like your audience to know that the product will fail and will show the beating from the weather.
This is a temporary paint job to see how I liked the color before I finally decided. It is for nothing more than concept.

Zach Forster The guys at addipted did the dip job for $750. It varies with the vehicle and application, however. If you mean the body kit, that cost about $7500. It isn't cheap.

its not hard, just use some goo gone, that stuff turns this into liquid goop literally
now what would be messed up is someone just pouring goo gone on the hood of this car
When you don't use enough product then yes it is difficult to remove. When you are dipped by Addipted, you will not have that issue. There are products available to apply to prevent scratches just like for paint.
