i just listened to 3 songs in a row after i came across a video randomly. intrigued by the name…. 3 songs in and they’re my new favorite band. this song is straight fire!
So exciting to see JATL on Kimmel! I’m so excited to see you guys in concert next month!! Don’t listen to the haters, your latest album is a truly remarkable gift of sound and emotion. Much thanks!!
I'm 61 and I think they are Absolutely awesome wish i was younger Judah Is so Good looking I like to everything about him I think some of his interviews and hes really a nice guy.
@@sherrigwinn5867Nope. He sounds 17. He sounds like he's in a high school garage band. These guys are mediocre. Trying too hard to growl Just sing, dude. But he cant sing well, see. Lyrics not bad, music- bad.
I've been a fan of these guys for years. He actually has a great voice most of the time but there are times where he's less consistent (like here) but overall and even live he has a pretty good voice and brings a ton of energy and emotion
I do believe it's the first time I've seen a sweater vest with a dress shirt buttoned up to the top - and shorts. Hey, to each his own; I can refrain from judging him for that, at the same time that I'm thinking it looks really stupid. Really.
I challenge you to listen to the whole of their new album, The Process, and then make up your mind. Sure, they aren’t for everyone, but what they did in this album is truly moving to me.
That's EXACTLY who I had in mind when I called this derivative. I'm glad to know that it's not just me hearing that. And speaking of derivative... Mumford was unabashedly trying to sound like a whole genre whose heyday was 3 and more generations ago. And that genre was itself defined by a highly stylized sound. So: It starts with a number of people trying to sound like each other. This is a sound that defines a whole genre of popular music. Incidentally, this sheet music (this was still prior to the advent of audio recording and playback) was published and distributed on what I believe to have been an unprecedented scale. Three generations or so later, a band that tugs on the traditionalist heartstrings and ideals of authenticity by calling itself a family, a father and sons act, achieves some success marketing that same genre of music to fill a certain niche, where it can be nostalgic and inoffensive, non-challenging, and non-threatening, to white, middle-aged, middle-class audiences. So here's the latest incarnation. Unfortunately, I didn't like it the first time around, when it could at least claim authenticity; nor did I like it any better this last time, when it could not. And this time? This time there's yet another additional remove from any sense of authenticity. And this group has a singer who can't even sing. I mean, he's terrible. I suppose I should give benefit of doubt here, as this is the first time I've listened to them, and maybe he has the flu, or an equipment problem whereby he can't hear himself, etc. So I shouldn't condemn them on a permanent basis yet. But it's certainly fair to say that this performance was very deeply flawed, and that I would have to be feeling a very strong sense of duty, somehow, to give them another listen, some other time.
I’ve gotten the chance to see them twice, the only band I’ve seen twice, and they’re amazing!

Now? You weren't alive in the 90's huh?
Why yes… Yes it is
@@jamesonbornholdt7302 I could hear a clear voice intermixed. Would sound better with smooth tones. They do have great energy.
checkout the rest of their stuff... very talented even his solo stuff (Judah.)
JUDAS PRIEST MAN!! This Band has a greasy preppy clothing style going on!! It's just too weird for me!

Judah the Lion? Jimmy 🙄
Tween pop with tough guy vocal. Not very creative.

Um, like Mumford, if he dropped out of high school…

Scks
This band wrote one song and just kept changing the lyrics. Just terrible.
