I did the 6/4/3/2 myself at home... loved it. Then, I let it grow out a bit and was doing a 10/8/6/3 for a couple of months. I found I wasn’t excited and content with my hair anymore so I went back to the 6/4/3/2. Sure enough, I am back to ’loving’ my hair again. Personally, for me, I can’t see ever going to anything longer again. This is just the cut that keeps me feeling the most free. It’s the length that makes me smile every time I glance in a mirror. I’d suggest going to the 6/4/3/2 and see what happens for you..... it’ll grow again if you don’t like it. Like Rene says... it’s just hair.

How do you know to pick a #6 guard over a #2 guard? Does it have to do with client's facial features or do they just ask for a longer buzzcut? Thanks 😊
Face shape, hair type, clients preference and the look is very different. A #2 is super short and has no texture, a #8 is long enough to use some wax and style it
