Great tips! We have been offering these vertical stacked clip videos for about 3 months now and it’s been a big hit. The biggest feedback that we have gotten that I’ll just leave here for anyone is that it’s not necessary to show so many clips and a lot of people have requested that we just stack 2 clips and slow them down and keep them on screen a little longer rather than trying to show too much in a short time. We really have noticed a difference when we hold the clips longer and just showing the main areas of the home in these vertical videos
Andrei, I know this question may seem to come from left field, but you got Mr thinking about fashion wear and professional presentation (as I saw from one of your previous videos using name brand). This unique appeal and style has me wondering for future photo shoot endeavors of my own, and that is: What do you wear on your feet? Now, many homes today have wood flooring, and as you and anyone would guess, leaving behind footprints in addition to scuff marks is a big no-no! So, what do you recommend when traveling between interior and exterior photo shoots on one's feet?
Thanks! Since I’m usually at properties for awhile, I wear comfortable adidas/athletic shoes. It’s usually not a problem and I just keep my shoes on actually, and just be mindful to not bring dirt or anything in I usually ask first thing and have shoe covers in my car or take them off
ANDREI HELP!!! I am shooting a property tomorrow but I am having trouble with micro jitters with my gimbal. I have the RS3 mini and the Canon r6mkii paired with an ef 16-35mm f4 ii. What stabilization do you use? IBIS, digital stab, enhanced stab, lens stab??? Thank you in advance
Congrats on the shoot! I normally use lens IS on + in camera stabilization, no digital stabilization. Along with shooting in 4k60 to slow things down a smooth anything that might be needed. Ninja walk super slow, make sure your gimbal is properly balanced!
I edit my videos in premiere pro and just work in a 1080x1920 timeline for vertical edits and reformat the shots on top of each other like so! Thanks for watching

Yeah that's what we do in my media business mostly! Unless the only deliverable for a client is a vertical video then we'll shoot it vertically. But we shoot in 4K to reformat it for a 1080 vertical edit, not delivery a 4k vertical edit if that makes sense. Thanks for watching!

I get this argument, but designing shots for the intended output is often vital and that’s the point of this video for me. Loads of great reasons to shoot wide of course, but shooting for the vertical aspect is important. Some wide shots simply don’t work when sitting in a 9:16 timeline. The amount of times I’ve shot some lovely content in 16:9 and no manner of repositioning works. I’ve switched on my vertical guides on my fx3 now so I can always see in the frame what the audience will see in the vertical output. Just means a little moving forward and backwards, or switching prime lenses! 👌🏻
#2 is really great man I've been mostly shooting 16:9 but will also make separate reels of the 9:16 will 3 of the stacked slomo videos but it's a good idea to shoot some vertical some landscape for this purpose exactly. Thanks for the video

Thanks so much! In your video editing program, I just make a vertical 1080x1920 timeline, and adjust the regular horizontal shot video clips to fit in the frame and stack 3 at a time. All done by just resizing the video clips and move them on top of each other in the timeline. Thanks for watching!
How are people finding these vertical videos? In the UK, most people access the real estate media resources through rightmove rather than through a platform like instagram. Do people go on instagram looking for properties? What’s the typical journey for viewers?
It’s for a couple reasons, yes they can get some potential leads from social platforms but also for the realtors to help build their own brand and showcase what they do for their listings to attract other potential clients. That’s why we also still deliver the full length 1-3 minute listing video for MLS and real estate based websites
Still the same focal length I would horizontally, around 24-35mm! But also super wide having the agent fully on screen like 15-16mm is becoming pretty popular and actually looks pretty well shot vertically too on socials. Thanks for watching!
You can do it in any editing program! I use premiere pro. You just make a vertical 1080x1920 timeline and the arrange the horizontal clips on top of each other in that vertical timeline. Good idea to make a video on it though. Thanks for watching!
I think us as the creatives need to go into each shoot and be intentional about vertical video. It’s so tempting to just adapt horizontal to vertical in post. Good stuff, especially about not shooting the entire property!

Thanks so much! I edit in a 2160x3840 timeline and export the same settings I would for a 4K video but just make sure it’s the right orientation. But honestly I’ve done some in 1080x1930 and then seen it on a clients social page and looks the same so idk if it’s even necessary. I’d you’re cropping in to your 4k footage, work on a 1080x1920 timeline so your not over scaling the footage. Still don’t know everything for that though! Thanks for watching
From what I understand, the best method would be to shoot in highest resolution possible, edit in highest resolution, export 1080p ( Max reso displayed for FB, tik Tok, IG Reels, TH-cam shorts ) with highest bitrate available while also trying to keep file size down. I've seen people tend to add a bit of sharpening to their 1080 vertical video before they post to social medias for that extra crispiness. Hope this helps!

Do most agents want vertical as an add on or just the vertical? How much are you charging for vertical? Do you find some properties don’t show well on vertical?
Most of my agents still want the traditional format, and the vertical add on is a bonus to them. I only have one client that just wants a vertical version, but it's still the same video package. Definitely luxury style properties fits the vertical format best, regular homes look funny IMO. Also sometimes looks better to shoot horizontal and crop in so it's not so wide up and down. Hey! No, I don't do a lot of volume and just focus typically on higher paying/luxury shoots where I can charge more and shoot less. But typically 1-2 business days for video content or maybe 3 for higher end/multiple deliverables. Thanks fro watching!
Great video man! Definitely been considering a Lumix s5ii or s5iix since you can shoot open gate which you can shoot horizontal but have more camera real estate to crop for vertical. Less work in my eyes!

I can't remember, does that one have native vertical shooting too? Back then, I would say no since my camera setup was small enough for the RS3 mini and lighter is better on the back haha. But now using the Canon R5C, yes I would since I have to use another gimbal because it's too small for it!
