I almost ditched one of these years back. ( my mother in laws, she bought from Singapore in 1980 ) Glad I still have it. Tough as old boots, good sound and pretty easy to service.
The AKAI GX-M10 is almost identical, except for the glass-ferrite heads? I like this deck, but if there is one thing that is dissappointing - it is that the cassette holder and compartment is plastic.
Hello, I bought a station, replaced the belts, turned it on and off several times, the 800 milliamp fuse in the circuit burned, I don't know, but after changing the fuse, the motor turned slowly, the circuit does not work anymore, please help me, thank you
It may be a faulty motor. I would disconnect it and see if its getting 12v. If it is, but turns slowly with the belts removed the motor is faulty or needs a lubrication.
