I wish there were more programming language options. The HP Prime G2 has the same problem. On the TI-Nspire CX you have Lua, a variation of Python and TI-BASIC. Not everyone has access to jailbreaking tools to run C applications on the Nspire and NumWorks. This machine has a lot of potential by running over twice faster than the previous NumWorks n0110, but I wish python's heap was higher than 64 KB.
Im quite new on calculators, but if you'd like to have more programming options/focus on coding, why would you not just use a pc, its not like your going to code much on the calculator itself.
They should produce another version without the lock-down but in a very distinct colour so it would be easy to spot in an exam hall. It is a huge pity that all modern calculators are hobbled to meet education requirements. I really miss the good old days when calculators were made as good as the chips and displays of the time allowed for a professional market! Colour displays are another regret well illustrated on this video as the display has to distractingly blink off after a timeout period to avoid the battery drain.
Yes I absolutely agree on the idea of a different colour version for non exam use. It's a shame this is a little locked down. I don't mind the colour display but I take your point.
@@joltiix So I did use Amazon UK and I paid £89 but on checking today I can't see them listed that cheap, I can only see them offered at about £150.. I realise I must have got a black friday type price.
Thanks for the unboxing and overview, looks like a really handy calculator to add to any collection.
I think my "unboxing" was a bit lacklustre! But you're welcome! Thanks for watching!

Yeah, I agree. It's great if you just want to play with python but it's a shame it's so locked down.

That might find a way into my calculator collection one day.
Its a pretty interesting one for sure!
Does cover all engineer and finance?

Where have you found the N0120 version?
They were on offer on Amazon UK.
This would've been much more useful if you had discussed the new features of the N0120 and comparison with the N0110 and N0100
I've only owned the N0120 so it would have been false for me to do this, also I was asked to do an unboxing and review of this item.
Where did you purchase the N0120?
The numworks website wouldnt deliver to the UK so I ended up ordering via Amazon.
@@concretedog7427 Did you use Amazon UK?
And do you mind sending a link? Thank you!
