I was deciding where to post this 6 Ji hand question and when I saw this video it reminded me of how I miss training with Professor Jay (3 masters and solo seminars) and working SCJ with past clubs. I was hoping to delve into the Yin/Yang aspects of the 6 Ji Hands and maybe looking first at the single blade of grass hand. Would the last three fingers grasping ,seizing, or locking be considered the “yin” aspect? Or does the meaning have something to do with rotational or transference of kinetic energy?
Great question Sir, I will handle this soon in a video... short answer is that it is both, and more as any hand positions or any Martial move or posture can be whatever you make it to be.
