Really, the challenge comes from the balance board. It's the way the game was designed to play, even if it takes a ton of practice to get used to it. Still better than next to no challenge with wiimote
@daijonIIX I assume you mean SMB Step & Roll isn't as creative as 1 & 2 were, and yeah, I definitely agree. I thought all games after the first two had gone down hill. They didn't come anywhere near to the challenge factor and addictiveness as the first two games.
Well, no, but its challenge factor still went down. It had a lot of mini games, but I find them less fun and memorable than the first two. I mean, I've been playing SMB1&2 for over 11 years now, and I literally finally just beat SMB2 entirely (Expert, Expert Extra, Master, Master Extra) a few days ago. They're so addicting and fun because I want to keep replaying the levels until I beat them. Banana Blitz, though, added jumping... jumping!? Seriously, you can see why they took it out in others.
What happened to the challenge factor? The SMB series went down the toilet after SMB2. Can't the developers see that the insane difficulty of the levels of the first 2 games is what drove players to replay it so much? That's what made it fun. These new ones are way too easy. I just finished SMB3D on my 3DS. The visuals are nice, but I finished the entire game including the secret world 8 in like a few hours. Compared to SMB1 and 2, I've finally beaten Expert only after years of playing it.
@TayoEXE about the super monkey balls today, amusement vision doesn't work with the smb franchise after smb2, i think that where the franchises CREATIVITY came from
There isn’t an eighth world in this game, this game has six main worlds, you only get the seventh world if you complete the previous six I used to have this game, I sold it more than a decade ago, I never unlocked World 7
But, they decided to make Step and Roll challenging by removing the jump feature, as there are 70 levels (and I already beaten them), and is game is really easy.
Yeah, at the time Banana Blitz was better, now I think this is the better Super Monkey Ball Wii game of the two Banana Blitz was the Wii launch title, like the original Super Monkey Ball console game for the GameCube This game came out in February 2010, this was the last fully console game Banana Blitz HD wasn’t released until 2019, 13 years after the original Banana Mania came out in 2021, with all of the stages from Super Monkey Ball 1, 2, and Deluxe, Nintendo Stage was not used from Master Extra 10 in Super Monkey Ball 2, live system was removed, you can mark stage as cleared, helper function, and the jump option which was introduced back in Banana Blitz
At least it looks intimidating...at it's least. And they might as well named the final level Solid Snake since I doubt any MGS fans and hardcore gamers would play this.
Looks like the only world that's semi-competable in....since there are potential shortcuts. I don't like the looks of those stupid blocks all over the place, though.
....just saying.....when i played this world for the first time....it....was..INSANELY.................DEFICULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate this world so much it took me 3 hour to finish this world i HATE it
No, there are only 7 worlds in this game, you technically get 6 worlds, you only get World 7 if you complete all Worlds 1-6 This world is technically considered Master, this is the extra world in the game
Honestly, Dynamic Slopes, for being one of the circles of hell, is kinda satisfying.

3 Things
1: Its Balance Board
2: The Balance Board Removes Most Obstacles, With The Cost Of Bad Controls.
3: I Love Your Channel
Bruh....
@@Helicopter7 I just noticed a typo on this 4 year old comment thanks to you.
Thanks for making this look completely easy. I have to die like 50 times to complete Siliconia...
You make this world look EASY!!
When I saw the stage at 3:15, I was like" WHAT THE HECK IS THAT??!!! I GOTTA BEAT THAT???!!!"
@daijonIIX

took me forever to beat with balance board. Loved the music
It looks really easy for the last world...

This game could have been great. But they decided to make it for four year olds. Great job on further strengthening the Wii's famous stereotype SEGA!
6:15 sounds like baby said fuck yeah lol
oops meant 6:14
Siliconia looks like SMB2's World 10
I think I died a little inside during this world.
Thanks did you find that out your self
Should I get this? It looks really fun... And easier then SMB 2 which I got frustrated with, especially world 8 >_>

@@bensmith2951they’re talking about the 8th world in SMB 2
Do you think Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll is easier than SMB Banana Blitz is too easy (even though the jump feature is axed from this game)?
This game's difficulty is a total joke. They wanted to make it easier for the balance board controls and went toooooootally overboard.
Ikr? Banana Blitz at least had worlds 8, 9, and 10 which were somewhat difficult. I blew through the entirety of S&R in around an hour and a half.
But, they decided to make Step and Roll challenging by removing the jump feature, as there are 70 levels (and I already beaten them), and is game is really easy.

i cant remmber the vid
the coment sed i've done world 7,8 and 9 but i cant do world 10 because it is to hard
PS:Do you have it now?
Hey guys its me again, Puddy. On Far East 7, I've got the record now! It's 49:58 and I'm gonna put it on TH-cam or not.
At least it looks intimidating...at it's least.
And they might as well named the final level Solid Snake since I doubt any MGS fans and hardcore gamers would play this.
how do you skip the credits like you did in the previous videos
hold A for 3 seconds.
@3DDCaptinJ did you beat this world?
Oh so what you are saying is that i completed the game on the day i got it
?
What the heck? Do the developers have some kind of "block" fetish? Because every level is filled with those dumb things.
TheBritishCommunity, They did sugar mountain in sonic colors. So why would you ant it again?
Cos on a step and roll video i saw someone say how do i get world 8
There are only 7 worlds in Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll
Looks like the only world that's semi-competable in....since there are potential shortcuts. I don't like the looks of those stupid blocks all over the place, though.

i could not beat stage 2 and 9 AND 10 on world 7.
@daijonIIX
What? I can't tell if you're for or against me.
show me the vid plz! :D
how do you know
@TayoEXE SMB ain't as long, fun and creative as 1&2 were
Are there World 8, 9 and 10 in this game?

i got world 7 on the day i got it but how do i get world 8 9 and 10?
James Carson there are no worlds 8 9 and 10
This is the last world in the game, there is no World 8 in Super Monkey Ball Step and Roll
Is this Wiimote-compatible?
think so
This game looks waaaaaay too easy
I hate the 4th and last stage here. They wouldn't be hard, except wii remote.
Yelle
I did siliconia deathless my high score is 80921 I beat you by a tiny bit
This wasn't a score attempt.
it took me 7 hours and 21 mins
because your a... *ahem* PRO
@Duskunoir Trust me you dont
snakey solid is so freakin easy
Meme Queen I agree when I first got to it it was fucken hard
I hate that world.
The Top Three levels that I mostly hate are
3. World 7-1
2. World 7-6
1!!!. World 7-10
Why is this game so easy?
Don't underestimate four year olds. I have a few young cousins that play better than me.
The levels don't look interesting at all compared to the older games.
