While it causes one to reflect and feel all the warm & fuzzy feelings of being a wide eyed younger person it pulls at the heart strings when we look at each member of "The Central Park 5" in slow motion and realize that all the great young teenage memories we were pondering over they themselves were denied those very same memories. . Along my journey of learning I get to know how people truly feel about music and what it does for them. Music is a beautiful thing and I'm so glad it exists, and I can't wait to fulfill my dream. He would be up before anyone else, opening up the gates in the parking lot, and he had such a good heart. He's a fucking hero, running towards the shots and shielding students when he got shot. I love you Coach, may you rest easy and be at the gates of Heaven, just like you always were in the morning making sure everyone was safe and in school. PrayForDouglas.

I always come back to this song from time to time. I first heard this song when I was driving late at night through a light snow storm. I don’t know what it was, but this song evoked such a feeling of nostalgia mixed with sadness in my soul. I just got out of the best relationship of my life, and I was going through a lot of depression and shit, so I think this song came out at the perfect time. I remember sitting in my car in this parking lot, watching the snow fall on my car window and I couldn’t help but think about why Frank’s music is so important to me, because that feeling of nostalgia/sadness forces me to face what I’m going through and just accept where I’m at in the universe in the moment. Every single time I listen to this song I feel the same way I did when I first heard it, and that’s what is so special about this song and Frank Ocean.

i will never hear this song without thinking of my ex. i never met his maternal grandma who had passed, but he would always saw how much she loved this song. i dont think she had ever heard frank ocean's version, but it's just perfect. and as for my ex, i truly hope that i get the chance to see him again and thank him for everything he taught me and the way he so patiently loved me. it's one of those relationships where i was happy in so many ways and also so in my head overthinking and not at a point where i was comfortable asserting myself & being fully honest. covid hit about 6 months after we met so that threw us for a loop and revealed so much about our world and ourselves but instead of taking actions to better myself and get where I wanted and needed to be, I ended up taking a lot of my frustrations out on him and becoming very nit picky and just not the type of supportive partner that I was so obsessed with having him be for me. it's all still so fresh and brings me so much pain and shame to see now in hindsight how awful i was to him in so many ways. i know i cant go back and im working on accepting that and living in the present. i still have so much love for him and i hope in some way he can still feel that, even in spite of my actions. we really both are two drifters off to see the world and i love that, this song, youtube comments sections, and anyone who can relate in any way.
