LAST PROBLEM ""NORMAL METHOD WITH EXPLANATION ."" Train 1- 5 am (time ) Speed - 60 km /hr So 1 hr it travels 60 km 30 mins it travels 30 km Therefore - it started at 5 am and traveled 90 km when it was 6:30 am . at 6 :30 am the TRAIN 2 is at station and its going in the direction of TRAIN 1 and they r both in the same time zone "6:30" . now the problem is like the policeman chasing thief and when he will catch the thief . Time 6: 30 am : Distance between TRAIN 1 and TRAIN 2 is = 90 km Let TRAIN 1 travel "x" distance before TRAIN 2 and TRAIN 1 meet So (X+ 90)/75=X/60 Because their meeting time is same X= 360 So distance from station where they meet is 360+90=450 Time is X/60=360/60=6 hr These all started when we started the sum by bringing both trains in same time zone ie "6:30am " soo we need to add 6 hr to 6 :30 am which is 12:30 pm in the noon
Normal method for 4 is simple Time difference is 1 hr so in 1 hr train a complete 40km, then the total distance will be 560-40= 520,, Now the equation is x/40 =520-x/60, X=208 Distance from mumbai is 208+40 =248..., 5th question also same related to this concept.... Tq
The NORMAL METHOD, People who are getting answer as 224 they are wrong because this not exactly solved as question 3 solved by sir. Please read the question ones before read my answer further First train from Mumbai travelled for an hour, when the second train from Chennai has started... So subtract that distance, that is 40km(since speed of train from mumbai is 40kmph) from total distance 560km. Now consider, there is only 520km between the two stations. As we know that, when the trains are traveling in the opposite direction, we have to add their speed. That is, 40 + 60 = 100. So, the distance covered by two trains together in 1 hour is 100km. The total distance is 520km(excluding the 40km). 520/100 = 5.2 (in decimal) That is, they take 5hrs 12mins(in mins) to meet each other.. (starting from 7am). So, adding 5hrs 12mins to 7am gives 12:12pm. Coming to the distance, it was asked from Mumbai. So consider first train speed. 40kmph. This train travelled for 6hrs 12mins(including the 1hr it took before the other train has started) to meet another train. So, 40 * 6.2(decimal value is used for normal calculations) = 248km. Finally, the time where the two trains met is 12:12pm, and the distance from Mumbai is 248km. Note: people who are confused how 5.2 became 5hr 12mins please search how to convert decimal time into fraction or th-cam.com/video/o8xfNC9c5Bg/w-d-xo.html Credit @Priyanka M
In last problem,( type3) At 6.30, the distance between two trains is 90kms, After every hour distance between two trains is reduced by 15kms (75-60) So to reduce the distance 90kms, it takes 6hours. Distance cover = time * speed D= 7.5hours * 60 = 450kms Or D = 6* 75 = 450kms
Que:4:- Train1 speed is 40km/hr. So till 7 am it will cover 40km dist. And after applying time equating method(x/40=(520-x)/60) on remaining dist. i.e(560-40=520km) we will get the value of x=208. So the total dist covered by Train1 from 6.00am will be 40km+208km=248km. To find time divide it by Train1 speed(40km/hr) you will get 6hr 20min. So from given time will be 6.00am +6hr 20min---> 12.20pm. Thank you😉
Time taken = 6.2 hours Is not equals to 6 hours 20 mins It is equals to 6.12 mins When consider your logic if the answer is 6.5 hours it means your answer should be 6 hours 50 mins it actually means 6 hours 30mins 😉😉😉😉
@@chhotulaljain8971 because the train with speed 40kmph has already completed 40kms, so while equating we need to subtract x distance from the other train which has started late i.e with 60kmph speed
train 1 starts @ 5:00 am and train 2 @ 6:30 am... initialize them to be on the same time...so time difference is 1hr 30 min.. train 1 will cover 90 km for 1.5 hrs.. then u need to solve the equation: X /75 = X+90 / 60 on solving u ll get X=450 km and time 450/75= 6 hrs.. since the distance has been calculated from 6:30 pm u need to add 6+6:30 nd u ll get 12:30 pm is the time where they meet
For 5th, a normal method like chasing problem First, train A start it's a journey at 5 a.m. at 60km/hr then train B starts it's a journey at 6.30 am at 75km/hr so, time different is 1.30 hours Therefore, train A travel for 1.30 hours is 90km Then apply chasing formula D=∆D(a/(a~b)) =90(75/15) D=450km T=D/S =450/75
Train A leaves from Delhi heading towards Mumbai at 100 km/h. Three hours later, train B leaves Mumbai heading towards Delhi at 200 km/h. Assume there's exactly 2000 km between Delhi and Mumbai. When the trains meet, which train is closer to Delhi? At what distance to Delhi do both trains meet?
10:23 another way...ratio of speeds of A & B 36:42 which is 6:7 .since time is constant here.....ratio of distances covered by A and distance covered by B is 6:7 let the distances be 6x,7x respectively .given that difference btw the distances covered is 48km ie 7x-6x=48km,.....x=48 now distance btw them initially is 7x+6x=13x=13*48=624
By 6:30Am train A already travelled 90km At 6:30Am train B at the starting point itself B---90km---A---x----? Both will meet at same time so equate both time T=D/S Train B needs to cover 90+x distance, train A will cover x distance before both meets So 90+x/75=x/60----> x=360km Total distance covered by B=360+90=450km Time=450/75=6hrs Total time=6:30+6=12:30Pm
@@eliteevildarkness5830 traditional methods are more intuitive. for example in 3rd question: let 'y' be the constant time. distance travelled by trainA+distance travelled by trainB=300 30y + 45y =300 75y=300 y=4 hours distance from point A=30*4=120 km if there is a time difference just add or subtract time. for example in 4th question: 40y + 60(y-1)=560 I think we can do this in mind itself with practise

sir i think 4th question answer is wrong "the time at witch 1st train time is 12:12 noon".... because 6.20 hours means 6 hours and 12 min . like that = "6.20 hours = 6 hours+0.2 hours".....0.2*60 min =12 min , so total 6 hours 12 min

last question normal method :: let's consider the first train cover a distance "x" (consider it from 6.30 a.m.) The second train starts at 6:30 am . For 4 th question: Mumbai train is 1 hr earlier than chennai train so directly we can't equate the time so frst mumbai train travelled in that 1 hour is 40 km so we substract the 40 from the total distance. then ans is 520 km Now we equate time T=T X/40 = 520-x/60 After solving this we get 208 km Mumbai train also travelled 40 km from 6 to 7 am Add 208+40=248
In last question you add the time with the time of 2nd train and in just previous one you add the time with the time of 1st train...how will we decide it ??
In the last ques they asked when the two will meet so we add tym with the 2nd train . In the previous one specifically asked from mumbai so we add tym with the mumbai (1st) train

LAST PROBLEM ""NORMAL METHOD WITH EXPLANATION .""
Train 1-
5 am (time )
Speed - 60 km /hr
So 1 hr it travels 60 km
30 mins it travels 30 km
Therefore - it started at 5 am and traveled 90 km when it was 6:30 am . at 6 :30 am the TRAIN 2 is at station and its going in the direction of TRAIN 1 and they r both in the same time zone "6:30" . now the problem is like the policeman chasing thief and when he will catch the thief .
Time 6: 30 am :
Distance between TRAIN 1 and TRAIN 2 is = 90 km
Let TRAIN 1 travel "x" distance before TRAIN 2 and TRAIN 1 meet
So
(X+ 90)/75=X/60
Because their meeting time is same
X= 360
So distance from station where they meet is
360+90=450
Time is X/60=360/60=6 hr
These all started when we started the sum by bringing both trains in same time zone ie "6:30am " soo we need to add 6 hr to 6 :30 am which is 12:30 pm in the noon

Normal method for 4 is simple
Time difference is 1 hr so in 1 hr train a complete 40km, then the total distance will be 560-40= 520,,
Now the equation is x/40 =520-x/60,
X=208
Distance from mumbai is 208+40 =248...,

The NORMAL METHOD,
People who are getting answer as 224 they are wrong because this not exactly solved as question 3 solved by sir. Please read the question ones before read my answer further
First train from Mumbai travelled for an hour, when the second train from Chennai has started...
520/100 = 5.2 (in decimal)
That is, they take 5hrs 12mins(in mins) to meet each other..

Sir, with all respect, need lessons on Boats and Streams. Will be really helpful sir. Thank you!!
In last problem,( type3)
At 6.30, the distance between two trains is 90kms,
After every hour distance between two trains is reduced by 15kms (75-60)
So to reduce the distance 90kms, it takes 6hours.
Distance cover = time * speed
D= 7.5hours * 60 = 450kms
Or
D = 6* 75 = 450kms
That is the first formula for calculating distance....u did it in the last
Que:4:- Train1 speed is 40km/hr.

But traditional methods are time consuming and in competitive exams even a min is imp , you can't afford to bleed time
@@eliteevildarkness5830
traditional methods are more intuitive.
for example in 3rd question:
let 'y' be the constant time.
distance travelled by trainA+distance travelled by trainB=300
30y + 45y =300
75y=300
y=4 hours
distance from point A=30*4=120 km
if there is a time difference just add or subtract time. for example in 4th question:
40y + 60(y-1)=560
I think we can do this in mind itself with practise
He explained that as well..
In 4th sum time 6hr 12minuts, two trains meet at 12:12 PM
Yes. Answer is 12:00 hrs 12min
6.2 hrs = 6:12
Yes 12:12 PM
Came to comments to look whether anyone has noticed it 😂
15:52 Traditional method :
Train T1 travels 40 km/hr means per hour T1 cover 40km and it starts at 6:00 am
Train T2 travels 60 km/hr covers 60 Km per hour and starts at 7:00am
here we have to set time constantly so, I add 1hr to the train T1 dis --> 40+40 =80 km/hr {speed of 1st train T1}
Then both trains starts at same time which 7:00 am
now equating
T1=T2
D1/S1 =D2/S2 ( let us take T2 cover x km then T1 covers (560 -- x) )
(560 -- x) / 80 = x / 60 (here T1 speed=80km/hr , so it covers more distance as compared to T2)
x = 240 km ( Meeting point )

sir i think 4th question answer is wrong "the time at witch 1st train time is 12:12 noon"....
because 6.20 hours means 6 hours and 12 min .

so total 6 hours 12 min

let's consider the first train cover a distance "x" (consider it from 6.30 a.m.)
The second train starts at 6:30 am .
But, The first train starts at 5 a.m.
The time difference is 1hr 30 min ~1.5 hr
but the first train travels at 60 km/hr i.e. for 1.5 hr it covers a distance of 90 km.
so, the second train should travel "x+90" km to meet the first train.
as,we know
T1=T2

if you do the math
x=360 km
so,the distance travelled by second train = the distance at both trains meet at "x+90"
= 360+90=450 km
and the time is
T=450/75=6hrs
i.e, 6:30+6:00=12p.m.
Hope ,it might help you.

16:48 at this sum why first as X, suppose I assume if 2nd point as X we made this sum is correct or not,possible to solve x/45=(300-x) /30
Sir ,you are best of the best very easy to understand love you from Assam
awsome logic I did not able to solve this method in my 9th class but I am confident that I will try this problem in future thanks a lot

hello sir...I am ur biggest fan.because there are hundreds of lectures on quantitative APTITUDE on youtube...bt i never see anyone to teach like u..really really helpful lecture....and i also requested u that take some tough level too and also make video on mixture and allegation and boat and streams in English...Thanks a lot...God bless u
thank you for your valuable feedback 😊
Best work sir u helpful to so many u r the real hero sir
I am waiting for your video Anna
And I clearly understood it.I am expecting more videos from u Anna.For all upcoming bank exams na.
Sir for que no. 4, I think 6.2 hours should be 6 hours 12 min..................
So trains meet at 12:12.
For 4th question T= 6 hr 12 min. and in the 5th Question both the Trains meet at 11am. and most importantly u should hv solved 5th question by normal method..Nevertheless You are awesome
Good observation
Ya ya
Yes sir. I'm totally exhausted for trying normal method.
Yeah it's 11 am
Thank u so much for the detail explanation of the classes and these are very helpful for us....sir please upload normal method for last two problems...

Sir using traditional method I can not solve 4th no question.Using traditional method it gives me 224 rather 248.So please please sir help me to get correct answer.
Same , I guess because we are not considering time . Time must play some role
Bro if possible plz post the videos on boats & streams, pipes & cisterns,mixtures & alligations
Sir please do make normal method with detailed logic for last 2 questions!
Sir plzz upload video on boats and streams sir

Sir ...! Your explanation is very good 👍
Train A leaves from Delhi heading towards Mumbai at 100 km/h. Three hours later, train B leaves Mumbai heading towards Delhi at 200 km/h. Assume there's exactly 2000 km between Delhi and Mumbai. When the trains meet, which train is closer to Delhi? At what distance to Delhi do both trains meet?
Sir how to do problems like there is stop at platforms and to reach the dest station from given station
Each stop takes some time like this questions..
Do the sum without considering stops.
And then finally add the stop time with the continuous run time!
1question has a shortcut:
42-36=6
6parts equals to 48
36=?
36×48/6=288
6parts equals to 48
42=?
42×48/6=336
336+288=624km
is it possible to solve all the sums in shortcuts?
42-36=6km
To cover 48km, Time =48/6=8
Then distance =8*(42+36)
=8*78=624
Easier Shortcut
Sir last 2 questions how we would come to come the last addition. I mean in 2nd last sum you have added 6+6.20 but in last ques u took 6+6.30...
Your videos all are very useful sir
Sir, thank you so much for your help, Really appreciate it!
Last question formula may be wrong I think so sir ji.
That formula we have used for late/early ; early/late. Formula may be
∆d * (a) /(a-b)
The distance between two station, delhi and amritsar, is 450km. A train starts at 4 pm from delhi and moves toward amritsar at an average speed of 60 km/hr. Another train starts from amritsar at 3:20 pm and moves towards delhi at an average speed of 80 km/hr how far from delhi will the two trains meet and at what time.....??????
Can you explain 2nd type problem in normal method as well as 3rd type also? Sir please make problems on train as a playlist bcz i am not getting the videos related to train random manner. Have a nice day sir💐.
*Sir at **25:30** why did you take first time to add where as at **28:39** you took second time to add pls clarify*
your videos excellent sir ever seen this type of teaching
sir with all respect need traditional method on lesson 3 trains meeting (type 1) 4th sum
It's similar like police chasing theif
Sir, in the introduction and at 20:08 the equation for finding distance in type 1 is a bit different. You have written S1 in the introduntion and S2 in the other
Thank you so much Sir, concept behind this type of questions is cleared, now, i could able to solve any questions related to this easily....thank you sir🙏
I am obliged to your gratitude and kindness. Thank you madam.

Hi sir,
At 25:00 time you considered 6.2 hrs as 6 hrs 20 minutes but you have told that if it is 6.5 hrs it is 6 hrs 30 mins not 6 hrs 50 mins , then, the right time will be 6 hrs 12 minutes right??
By normal method solving for 4 th sum ,answer isgetting vary
Thanksss a lottt 🙏🏻 I liked the traditional method. Got a good clarity 😊👍🏻
I am so glad i found your channel,thank you for this amazing content .
I’m glad for the same too madam, you’re most welcome.
Sir upload videos on all chapters of quantitative aptitude and reasoning based on SSC and banking sir please.....
Two trains for B leave A at 6:30 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. on the same day and travel at 12 kmph and 20 kmph respectively. How many kilometers from A will the trains meet?
Ops:
A. O 22.5 km
B. 35 km
C. 14 km
Anna could you please solve the type 1 method in traditional way where two train have individual starting time.Thanks in advance.Love u anna
for the problem no. 4 the time is 6 hrs 12 mins not 6 hrs 20 mins
Sir upload the normal method to find at time the both trains met each other
For normal method, Equate distances travelled by both the teains friend. First u get Time taken by second train.. then proceed. I tried i got correct answer.
In the fourth question
The time taken to reach both trains is 6.2 hours
It doesn't mean that
6.2 hours is equals to 6 hours 20 mins
It is Mean that 6.2 hours = 6.hours 12 mins
When consider your logic
If the answer was 6.5 hours it means the time taken by the train is 6 hours 50 mins.... No right 😉😉😉
Sir will u please upload traditional method for 4 and 5 questions
Best teacher for maths😊
sir u r class is really excellent and very helpful to us......thank u sir.....🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
two people travel from one place to another at the same time. they met with each other 4 and 16 hours after the start of the journey, respectively. however, the speed in the first man hours is 18 km h
Ques.4
6.2 hours equals
6 hours and 12 minutes
Not 6 hours and 20 minutes sir 24:50
I have a short cut method for this 36:42 ratio is 6:7 difference is 1 for ratios one part is 48 kms so 6 parts = 288 and 7 parts 336 so total 288+336= 624..
Correct me if iam wrong
NORMAL METHOD FOR LAST QUESTION
TO FIND AT WHAT DISTANCE TWO TRAINS MEET
t1 = t2
X+ 90 / 60 = x/ 75 (Since train 1 has started one and half hour early at the speed of 60km/hr in one and half hour it travelled 90kms so add 90 to x)
Cancel 60 and 75 in 15 table as 4 and 5 and cross multiply
5x+450=4x
X=450km
For time just use time = distance/speed
T=90/15 (90 is the distance difference at first between two trains and 15 is 60-75 because both train travel im same direction subtract the speed)
T=6hrs
6:30+6hrs=12:30PM
Thank you
Why did you added 6hrs to 5:30
Wonderful explanation, Sir👌👌
Please post more videos on problem on train.. sir
For 4 th question:
Mumbai train is 1 hr earlier than chennai train so directly we can't equate the time so frst mumbai train travelled in that 1 hour is 40 km so we substract the 40 from the total distance. then ans is 520 km
Now we equate time
T=T
X/40 = 520-x/60
After solving this we get 208 km
Mumbai train also travelled 40 km from 6 to 7 am
Add 208+40=248
Sir we want to boats and streams problems sir...
Plz provide
In last question you add the time with the time of 2nd train and in just previous one you add the time with the time of 1st train...how will we decide it ??
Same doubt.
If u know clarify me
Same dbt
In the last ques they asked when the two will meet so we add tym with the 2nd train . In the previous one specifically asked from mumbai so we add tym with the mumbai (1st) train
I don't know if I missed something but why have you changed the formula in question 3 from S2 to S1 in the numerator?
Sir in type 3 formula
Units are didn't match for distance formula.
Numerator part S1*S2*T gives distance(speed*time=distance)
In denominator (S1~S2 gives speed)
Then how can we get Distance/speed gives again distance????
Tell me sir, I am confusing at that formula
27:30
25:45 well sir made the mistake in coverting the 6.2hrs, therefore 0.2 x 60 = 12 minutes
so time will be 12:12 PM
Sir plzz explain 4 th que by normal method..... Ans will be vary from normal nd formula method..
Sathish sir please post the solution of Question 4 in normal method here. Please sir :)
Thank you for unconditional support
What about if the speeds are relative speed so please make video on relative speed also sir...Great Teaching sir.
Thanks for your teaching 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
