Your rapture sermons are like a balm for the soul. I'm a former Seventh Day Adventist who had it hammered into my head that there is "NO SECRET RAPTURE". ( I don't know why they think the rapture is a secret.) I have watched many TH-cam videos on the rapture trying to find that "blessed hope" and after watching several of your sermons I am finally confident that THERE REALLY IS A PRE-TRIB RAPTURE AND I AM GOING TO HEAVEN IN IT! I can tell you of a very good Bible teacher who has the gospel right and his doctrine is solidly Biblical who himself was a Seventh Day Adventist. He's pre-trib all the way! Let me know if you would like to know of his channel. He has some wonderful teachings and he is true to the Bible always. So pleased you were released from false teaching!
I find they believe this is because there told . Like Ellen white is a prophet which she couldn't be , because Jesus said there wouldn't be any more prophets after him . You can show them what it says in the bible , but they don't want to see it or hear it . So good for you for seeing this .💖💖💖

The church I attend is a Sabbath based nondenominational church and a majority of them are ex SDA. I can't answer to wether or not they consider EG White is a prophet or not, but her book The Great Controversy tells how the Sabbath was changed by the RCC and is not scriptural. I myself am a pre trib believer so I guess I'm a bit of an anomaly, but I can tell you, they are not a cult and are God fear Christian's. Their problem is getting legalistic about the Sabbath. Instead of it being a day of rest and worship, it becomes a burden akin to a works. I expect to tell them, "I told you so", on our way up.😇 BTW I highly recommend reading the Great Controversy, it reveals the behind the scenes conflict with Satan as the accuser and it is also filled with a load of Reformation vs Papacy history. It is one of the first books I was drawn to when I turned to God and asked Jesus to take the reins. That and The Left Behind series. Interesting books.

Only He came down from heaven, lived the sinless life nobody could ever live, and died as our sinless substitute on the cross 2,000 years ago, He was buried, and He rose from the grave bodily 3 days later, according to scripture. That's all you can do is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ alone as He already paid your sin debt fully for you on the cross! Just believe He did it for you and you will be born again instantaneously and sealed securely by the Holy Spirit! It is a free gift from the Father. You just need to receive it! Please do! Thank-you! I already know my history very well. You need to understand that no good works, better behaviour, or earning your way to heaven will ever save you. A death payment needed to be made by the Lord Jesus Christ as only He is perfect human who is also 100% God and therefore sinless!
With all of the misery going on around us there is nothing more comforting than our blessed hope! The level of vitriol against the pre-trib rapture is only fulfilling 2 Peter 3:3-4. Satan always attacks truth. Thank the good Lord for such an amazing promise and thank-you Dr. Woods!
Truth is the word of God, Jesus is Truth. If you stand for truth, you have to believe the word of God. The bible is Post-trib. Jesus taught the Rapture in Mat 24:29-31. The coming (erchomai) in the clouds are the Rapture and not His prousia= advent and return to earth. The trumpet sounds at the Resurrection/Rapture, not His coming to earth. He does not come with His Saints, He gathers His Saints. You can argue this all away, if scripture would say something else, but you have no scripture for a Pre-trib Rapture. Paul says the same in 2. Thess 2: 1-9, first comes the AC and than the Lord. Again you have to twist the scripture as you said, Satan attacks always the truth. If you want comfort, repent of false doctrine, have a clean heart through repentance of your sins, as scripture says, we have to purify ourselves and we will be preserved FROM the last 3 1/2 years. Most believers have more darkness in them than light, I have seen it, it is a fact. I know all the scriptures that you can use against my words, but their is the other side of the coin. God bess!

I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ's sacrificial death on the cross in my place to pay my sin debt in full by His blood, His burial, and His bodily resurrection from the dead 3 days later, according to scripture. I know I am going to heaven on the imputed righteousness of Christ because I have none of my own. Jesus paid it all! Like many of the pretrib pastors say, "we'll tell you where you got it wrong on the way up". My prayer is for Jesus to call us soon, let them pray to stay for the misery. I need to agree wholeheartedly that the doctine of Rapture Imminence promotes behavior that's "good" (godly). This happened to me! This doctrine incentivized me to clean up some besetting sins in my life that clung for over a decade. I've been a Christian for nearly two decades, but I've struggled with sin (a specific on I'll leave nameless), and no struggle or prayer has worked long-term in the way that the likely soon return of Jesus expectation has worked. When the temptation hits, I think "But Jesus will be back soon. I can hold out just a little longer. Just a little longer."

We do not join a church, since non “dares” to talk about the (pre-trib) rapture, they only talk about climate change, BSD of Israel etc. For this reason we only watch on-line church.
There is still a basic "imminency" in the life every man: his own death. There is no sign for that either. We need to be ready to meet our maker, rapture or not.
Many thanks my brother! You open the truth wide! I became a christian in 1983 at age 22 and have long believed that when we die in the Lord,, as scripture says, we 'Sleep'. Whatever that means, it doesnt say we Immediately awake in heaven. As we sleep we are somehow as it were 'kept' by the Lord. 'To die is to be with the Lord' does not say we are awake and active, otherwise why does scripture say the dead in Christ shall rise moments before those alive in Christ at the same 'twinkling of an eye' 'END TIME' rapture. God would hardly bundle the dead back down to the grave just moments before the rapture to fulfil his word. You open the word and give me the confidence to voice what I believe, without condemnation. Correction if in error, yes if needed, but not shouting down. I believe that is the way of Christ, of LOVE. I am so grateful to God for your ministry. I am truly feeling so emotional in my gratitude and thanks as I say that. Thank you brother Andy.
The soul/spirit exits the mortal frame and appears in the presence of the Lord, 2 Cor 5:8. The word 'present' means to 'be at 'home' or 'to be in one's own country'. (Strong's 1736). The dead in Christ refers to the dead body of the saint. Paul says that this 'mortal' shall put on immortality - 1 Cor 15:53. The soul is not mortal; it can't be eaten in the grave or burnt with fire in cremation. The mortal body suffers those natural processes and is subject to activities of mankind after death. Jesus said that we are not to be afraid of those who CAN kill the body but are not able to do anything beyond that - Matt 10:28. Solomon said about physical death - 'Then the dust (human body) shall return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7. Have a read of the Scriptures and pray over them.

I am honestly looking for pre-trib rapture by September. If no rapture occurs by then, being the end of the very last season, I will be looking for the Beis HaMikdash to be built and Damascus destroyed for rapture timing.
It is wiser NOT to try and pinpoint the harpadzo (rapture) with an event that is not spoken of in Scripture. He may come in between the two events or before or after both. Jesus said no man knows the hour or day (Matt 24:36,42)..... He also said Be ready! (Matt 24:44) Watch! (Matt 25:13)
And he says blessed is he who does not see, but believes. Born again people do not see but believe, and therefore are blessed not to go through the tribulation.
Soon and very soon we true believers exit the world stage ~ Left with Jesus! Exegesis = to lead out Exit with Jesus ~ He is The Door (see John 10) ~ Cross Through The Way, The Truth, and The Life! I divorced myself from my church. They were post trib, kingdom now, lordship salvation, and didnt even touch the central prophecy of the 70th week of Daniel. Oh and the pastor said he was one of the two witnesses from rev11 and the reincarnated Enoch.
Excellent. Everything you teach is very clear as to what it means. People seem to just go with whatever they think it means, or pull Scripture out of context. I love how you show Scripturally, that Jesus doesn't come back to grab people when they die. I have complete peace about the pre-trib Rapture. Another reason for wrong teaching in this, is because there are those who are not called to teach the Scripture,,,,, therefore are going on their own understanding,,,,not the Holy Spirit,,,,nor do they cross reference and study carefully.
One further comment. You point out in John 14:19, Christ says "after a little while, the world will no longer see Me, but YOU WILL see me;" Here He imay be talking about a post ascension period (after He has 'gone' ("I go")) which is possibly referring to the rapture and 7 year 'marital rest' period. To paraphrase: Though I am HID from the WORLD - YOU will see me. Just a thought brother. (Apologies if Im repeating something you have said that didn't lodge in my memory ) GOD's deepest blessings
Another problem for any other view besides a pre-trib rapture is the fact that if the church would go thru any part of the 7 years, they would be killed and de at the altar of God, resurrected after satan is bound in the abyss, and be judged by individuals, other than Jesus, who are sitting on thrones. Thats not a beam seat of Christ and who is sitting on the throne? It must be the Church(Bride) who was raptured before God delivered His wrath on an unbelieving world.
The *OT prophet Jeremiah* was given a yet undisclosed prophecy hidden in verses *7:34** / 16:9 / **35:10* to have "the voice of the bride and bridegroom removed" and bring them back again rejoicing in chapter *33:11* Compare also Revelation 18:23. 🔥🙏🔥
I also believe the entire Tribulation is wrath. I hear people always refer to Gods wrath but not a Satans wrath. In the tribulation. I would love to hear a teaching on Satans wrath in the tribulation. I don’t believe as a believer in Christ I am appointed to Satans wrath or Gods wrath I look forward to. Biblical scriptural teaching on both Satans wrath and Gods wrath.
I agree with Andy's interpretation of Jn 14:1-4, namely this passage does indeed refer to our Rapture-rescue. Moreover, the key Greek verb, in this reference, "paralambano" means , "decisively-take-close beside" and is elsewhere utilized to reveal more details about our Rapture (Mt 24:40-41; Lk 17:34-35) God's Word is God-breathed, hence without error and without contradiction, including specific word choices and specific uses.
And to those who would try to turn the "AGAIN" back on you where you state it is *ONE* time He is coming back where they would say the rapture & 2nd coming are *ONE* event, what say you?
I enjoy your thorough messages on the pre-Tribulation rapture and agree that it calls us to evangelism and holy living. The problem for me finding a church isn't just the pre-Trib belief, but it is tied to the marriage of the church to Jesus our Bridegroom (Matthew 25 parable), and I can't find a church that believes remarriage is adultery. Even your own church has an exception clause when there is no exception except for the Jewish tradition that the marriage began at the betrothal which is why Joseph was going to divorce Mary. Mark 10 and Luke 16:16-18 Jesus says let no man separate what God has joined together and the only death ends a marriage. The innocent spouse you say is allowed to remarry, but I am the innocent spouse, and I can tell you the Holy Spirit has told me never to do this because then I will be called an adulteress (Romans 7:2-3, 1 Corinthians 7:10-11,39) and the man who married me would become an adulterer since my husband is still alive. This is very, very important because we are to forgive and forgive in order to be forgiven ourselves, and if you commit to stay married even after divorce, there are marriages that are restored after much prayer and families made whole. There are no blended families in the Bible. The ONLY remarriage that is allowed is for those whose spouse has literally died. I am afraid that many who believe in pre-Tribulation are going to be shocked to be left behind because they were living hypocritically saying that gay marriage is an abomination, but the remarriage is no different. The church of Thyatira was warned to repent and end the adultery by Jesus' red letter words. The pre-Tribulation rapture is a judgment of sorts as to who was obeying the will of the Father and not just calling Jesus "Lord, Lord." (Matthew 7:21-23)
Your comment is legalistic. We are no longer under the law, but under grace through Christ. Yes, we should be living in a way that's pleasing to the Lord, but it's not required for salvation. Faith in Christ's sacrifice and resurrection alone is what saves, not the way we live because then if salvation is dependent on how we live, then that would mean we can earn our salvation, which we can't. The gospel is called Good News for a reason, and if we have to keep our salvation by how we live, that's not good news at all because we fail daily. Christ alone is how we're saved.

Jesus said it- I obey it since Jesus is both Savior and Master. “Until John the Baptist, the law of Moses and the messages of the prophets were your guides. But now the Good News of the Kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is eager to get in. But that doesn’t mean that the law has lost its force. It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the smallest point of God’s law to be overturned. “For example, a man who divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery. And anyone who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.” Luke 16:16-18 I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Jude 1:4 I gave her time to repent, but she does not want to turn away from her immorality. “Therefore, I will throw her on a bed of suffering, and those who commit adultery with her will suffer greatly unless they repent and turn away from her evil deeds. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches out the thoughts and intentions of every person. And I will give to each of you whatever you deserve. Revelation 2:21-23 Study the Word daily like a Berean.

In a sense, was Jesus speaking over the Apostle's heads when he was speaking in John 14:1-4 of something yet future and still hidden in the mind of God Deuteronomy 29:29 until it was revealed by revelation to the Apostle Paul? If the apostles couldn't understand that Jesus would go up to Jerusalem, be delivered unto the Gentiles, be put to death and rise the third day! Luke 18:31-34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken. John 20:9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. Today we have the complete written word of God by revelation of the Holy Spirit we can now know what Jesus was talking about, by careful study of his word by comparing scripture with scripture! NEWS CONCERNING THE RAPTURE! The beheaded christians from revelation 20: 4-5 have gone through the great tribulation and take part in the first resurrection. In the rapture of 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 the dead in Christ will rise first,before the living will be caught up together with them. This means that the rapture can not be before the tribulation!
when God instructed Noah to make places for him, his family and all the animals is the same word used when Jesus said He was going to prepare a place for us, Not a mansion but a dwelling place, now think about that, "In My Father's house (domain)(abode)(all that exists) are many dwelling places, these dwelling places could be described as with Heaven, and also hell, as they All belong to God, so what if its not individual places, one for each of us but rather different places for all to dwell, example there is hell, that is where all that rejected Jesus will exist ,not individual places for them like jail cells but a single place for all unbelievers, Heaven is where we exist along with angels and the creatures of heaven, perhaps there are different abodes, dwelling places for angels separate from believers, like different realms as we are not angels and the living creatures are not angels and God is God and Jesus is Jesus. The abode, the dwelling places are different realms that all belong to God, and we are a part of where God is, we as believers are in a realm by ourselves but not separate from God and Jesus , we dont all get a separate place but a place where we will be, which is a part of God's domain. Why would we want or need separate dwelling places? for what purpose? we dont need to rest or sleep, we dont need apartments for each, there is no need for them, we will forever be with Jesus, We are not all angels we are not God or Jesus we are not demons, but we are His church, His body, His son's and daughter's and we are a part of His domain, His Abode, His universe
emilee Are you familiar with the Jewish wedding model? Jesus is going to his Father’s House to prepare a specific place for his bride (church) to live. She, engaged, remains in her father’s house. He will return to fetch her from there, suddenly to begin their life together. They will spend 7 days/years - honeymoon) hidden away, becoming intimate and consummating their marriage. This is the tribulation period on earth. Afterward, the wedding feast happens and guests arrive to celebrate. This precedes the Millennium.
The pre-trib, mid-trib, and 3/4-trib rapture-timing scenarios require two, distinct and separated "parousia"-comings: one, for His Church, and one, with His Church. However, in the Greek text, the Greek word, "parousia" (coming) is singular and preceded by a singular definite article ("the-coming"), and followed by an identifying, (usually genitive) phrase. Therefore, unless you insist that "the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ" (2Th 2:1) is distinct from "the coming of the Lord" (1Th 4:15) and "the coming of the Son of Man" (Mt 24:27,30), the Greek text only grammatically supports one second parousia-coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This rejection of the pre-trib, mid-trib, and 3/4-trib rapture-timing conjectures appears to be completely consistent with the resurrection-timing-constraints revealed in 1Cor 15:23-24, as well as the "Last Day" resurrections that Jesus promised (Jn 6:39,40,44,54), as also the angel's promise to Daniel at "The End of the Days" (Dan 12:13).
Dr. Woods, I may not agree with everything you say, but Hal Lindsay is a wonderful teacher and we may not agree with everything another pastor says, but aren't we to be bereans in all that we hear? I'm disappointed. Are we not to tear down another man of God? Wow!
An imminent parousia-coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, and our being "episunago"-fully-gathered together upon Him is completely contradicted by 2Th 2:1-3, because two preconditions are asserted. God's Word is Truth, and the Truth can never, ever contradict itself. This contradiction is even clearer in the Greek text of v-3, which reads, "not anyone, at-any-point-might-be-emotionally-seducing you down not-even-one pathway, except the apostasy might at-some-point-be-coming first, and the "Man of Sin" might at-some-point-be-revealed. These two pre-conditions categorically reject any imminent parousia-coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let me ask you this, if a person who is saved goes directly to heaven, then why would the dead in Christ rise from the grave if they have already been judged and are in heaven? Do they have to leave their heavenly abode to go back into the grave just to to back into their dead bodies so they can be raptured? That makes no sense. Jesus said that Lazareth sleeps. He then said Lazarus is dead. The soul sleeps until the rapture or the 2nd coming. We don't go to heaven or hell when we die. That would make us already immortal. We are mortal until the rapture and the 2nd coming. Those who are not saved and reject Jesus will face the 2nd death. Those who experience the 2nd death will be burned up and be ashes and stubble under our feet.
From what I believe Andy and other theologians say...we die and our spirit ascends...our bodies or molecules (buried, burned..whatever) are here. So we go to the first Heaven (absent from the body, present with the Lord). Then when Jesus appears (rapture) all (bodies) who are dead in Christ shall rise, then the Church where all of us will be "transformed". Therefore our dead bodies will rise (no matter what state) and be transformed, then those who are not dead but still alive in their bodies will rise and be transformed...we will then all meet Jesus in the sky and go to the second Heaven where we all will feast and celebrate Jesus's reunion with His bride.

Instead of it being a day of rest and worship, it becomes a burden akin to a works. I expect to tell them, "I told you so", on our way up.😇
BTW I highly recommend reading the Great Controversy, it reveals the behind the scenes conflict with Satan as the accuser and it is also filled with a load of Reformation vs Papacy history. It is one of the first books I was drawn to when I turned to God and asked Jesus to take the reins. That and The Left Behind series. Interesting books.

I already know my history very well. You need to understand that no good works, better behaviour, or earning your way to heaven will ever save you. A death payment needed to be made by the Lord Jesus Christ as only He is perfect human who is also 100% God and therefore sinless!
With all of the misery going on around us there is nothing more comforting than our blessed hope! The level of vitriol against the pre-trib rapture is only fulfilling 2 Peter 3:3-4. Satan always attacks truth. Thank the good Lord for such an amazing promise and thank-you Dr. Woods!
Truth is the word of God, Jesus is Truth. If you stand for truth, you have to believe the word of God. The bible is Post-trib. Jesus taught the Rapture in Mat 24:29-31. The coming (erchomai) in the clouds are the Rapture and not His prousia= advent and return to earth. The trumpet sounds at the Resurrection/Rapture, not His coming to earth. He does not come with His Saints, He gathers His Saints. You can argue this all away, if scripture would say something else, but you have no scripture for a Pre-trib Rapture. Paul says the same in 2. Thess 2: 1-9, first comes the AC and than the Lord. Again you have to twist the scripture as you said, Satan attacks always the truth.
If you want comfort, repent of false doctrine, have a clean heart through repentance of your sins, as scripture says, we have to purify ourselves and we will be preserved FROM the last 3 1/2 years. Most believers have more darkness in them than light, I have seen it, it is a fact. I know all the scriptures that you can use against my words, but their is the other side of the coin. God bess!

I need to agree wholeheartedly that the doctine of Rapture Imminence promotes behavior that's "good" (godly). This happened to me! This doctrine incentivized me to clean up some besetting sins in my life that clung for over a decade. I've been a Christian for nearly two decades, but I've struggled with sin (a specific on I'll leave nameless), and no struggle or prayer has worked long-term in the way that the likely soon return of Jesus expectation has worked. When the temptation hits, I think "But Jesus will be back soon. I can hold out just a little longer. Just a little longer."

I became a christian in 1983 at age 22 and have long believed that when we die in the Lord,, as scripture says, we 'Sleep'. Whatever that means, it doesnt say we Immediately awake in heaven. As we sleep we are somehow as it were 'kept' by the Lord.
'To die is to be with the Lord' does not say we are awake and active, otherwise why does scripture say the dead in Christ shall rise moments before those alive in Christ at the same 'twinkling of an eye' 'END TIME' rapture. God would hardly bundle the dead back down to the grave just moments before the rapture to fulfil his word. You open the word and give me the confidence to voice what I believe, without condemnation. Correction if in error, yes if needed, but not shouting down. I believe that is the way of Christ, of LOVE.

The soul/spirit exits the mortal frame and appears in the presence of the Lord, 2 Cor 5:8. The word 'present' means to 'be at 'home' or 'to be in one's own country'. (Strong's 1736).
The dead in Christ refers to the dead body of the saint. Paul says that this 'mortal' shall put on immortality - 1 Cor 15:53. The soul is not mortal; it can't be eaten in the grave or burnt with fire in cremation. The mortal body suffers those natural processes and is subject to activities of mankind after death.
Jesus said that we are not to be afraid of those who CAN kill the body but are not able to do anything beyond that - Matt 10:28.
Solomon said about physical death - 'Then the dust (human body) shall return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 12:7.
Have a read of the Scriptures and pray over them.

I am honestly looking for pre-trib rapture by September. If no rapture occurs by then, being the end of the very last season, I will be looking for the Beis HaMikdash to be built and Damascus destroyed for rapture timing.
It is wiser NOT to try and pinpoint the harpadzo (rapture) with an event that is not spoken of in Scripture. He may come in between the two events or before or after both. Jesus said no man knows the hour or day (Matt 24:36,42)..... He also said Be ready! (Matt 24:44) Watch! (Matt 25:13)

I divorced myself from my church. They were post trib, kingdom now, lordship salvation, and didnt even touch the central prophecy of the 70th week of Daniel. Oh and the pastor said he was one of the two witnesses from rev11 and the reincarnated Enoch.
Excellent. Everything you teach is very clear as to what it means. People seem to just go with whatever they think it means, or pull Scripture out of context. I love how you show Scripturally, that Jesus doesn't come back to grab people when they die.
I have complete peace about the pre-trib Rapture.
Another reason for wrong teaching in this, is because there are those who are not called to teach the Scripture,,,,, therefore are going on their own understanding,,,,not the Holy Spirit,,,,nor do they cross reference and study carefully.

One further comment. You point out in John 14:19, Christ says "after a little while, the world will no longer see Me, but YOU WILL see me;"
Here He imay be talking about a post ascension period (after He has 'gone' ("I go")) which is possibly referring to the rapture and 7 year 'marital rest' period.
To paraphrase:
Though I am HID from the WORLD - YOU will see me.

Another problem for any other view besides a pre-trib rapture is the fact that if the church would go thru any part of the 7 years, they would be killed and de at the altar of God, resurrected after satan is bound in the abyss, and be judged by individuals, other than Jesus, who are sitting on thrones. Thats not a beam seat of Christ and who is sitting on the throne? It must be the Church(Bride) who was raptured before God delivered His wrath on an unbelieving world.
The *OT prophet Jeremiah* was given a yet undisclosed prophecy hidden in verses *7:34** / 16:9 / **35:10* to have "the voice of the bride and bridegroom removed" and bring them back again rejoicing in chapter *33:11* Compare also Revelation 18:23. 🔥🙏🔥
I also believe the entire Tribulation is wrath. I hear people always refer to Gods wrath but not a Satans wrath. In the tribulation. I would love to hear a teaching on Satans wrath in the tribulation. I don’t believe as a believer in Christ I am appointed to Satans wrath or Gods wrath

I agree with Andy's interpretation of Jn 14:1-4, namely this passage does indeed refer to our Rapture-rescue. Moreover, the key Greek verb, in this reference, "paralambano" means , "decisively-take-close beside" and is elsewhere utilized to reveal more details about our Rapture (Mt 24:40-41; Lk 17:34-35) God's Word is God-breathed, hence without error and without contradiction, including specific word choices and specific uses.
And to those who would try to turn the "AGAIN" back on you where you state it is *ONE* time He is coming back where they would say the rapture & 2nd coming are *ONE* event, what say you?
I enjoy your thorough messages on the pre-Tribulation rapture and agree that it calls us to evangelism and holy living. The problem for me finding a church isn't just the pre-Trib belief, but it is tied to the marriage of the church to Jesus our Bridegroom (Matthew 25 parable), and I can't find a church that believes remarriage is adultery. Even your own church has an exception clause when there is no exception except for the Jewish tradition that the marriage began at the betrothal which is why Joseph was going to divorce Mary. Mark 10 and Luke 16:16-18 Jesus says let no man separate what God has joined together and the only death ends a marriage. The innocent spouse you say is allowed to remarry, but I am the innocent spouse, and I can tell you the Holy Spirit has told me never to do this because then I will be called an adulteress (Romans 7:2-3, 1 Corinthians 7:10-11,39) and the man who married me would become an adulterer since my husband is still alive. This is very, very important because we are to forgive and forgive in order to be forgiven ourselves, and if you commit to stay married even after divorce, there are marriages that are restored after much prayer and families made whole. There are no blended families in the Bible. The ONLY remarriage that is allowed is for those whose spouse has literally died. I am afraid that many who believe in pre-Tribulation are going to be shocked to be left behind because they were living hypocritically saying that gay marriage is an abomination, but the remarriage is no different. The church of Thyatira was warned to repent and end the adultery by Jesus' red letter words. The pre-Tribulation rapture is a judgment of sorts as to who was obeying the will of the Father and not just calling Jesus "Lord, Lord." (Matthew 7:21-23)

Your comment is legalistic. We are no longer under the law, but under grace through Christ. Yes, we should be living in a way that's pleasing to the Lord, but it's not required for salvation. Faith in Christ's sacrifice and resurrection alone is what saves, not the way we live because then if salvation is dependent on how we live, then that would mean we can earn our salvation, which we can't. The gospel is called Good News for a reason, and if we have to keep our salvation by how we live, that's not good news at all because we fail daily. Christ alone is how we're saved.

In a sense, was Jesus speaking over the Apostle's heads when he was speaking in John 14:1-4 of something yet future and still hidden in the mind of God Deuteronomy 29:29 until it was revealed by revelation to the Apostle Paul? NEWS CONCERNING THE RAPTURE! The beheaded christians from revelation 20: 4-5 have gone through the great tribulation and take part in the first resurrection. In the rapture of 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 the dead in Christ will rise first,before the living will be caught up together with them. This means that the rapture can not be before the tribulation!

Jesus is going to his Father’s House to prepare a specific place for his bride (church) to live.
She, engaged, remains in her father’s house. He will return to fetch her from there, suddenly to begin their life together. They will spend 7 days/years - honeymoon) hidden away, becoming intimate and consummating their marriage. This is the tribulation period on earth. Afterward, the wedding feast happens and guests arrive to celebrate. This precedes the Millennium.
The pre-trib, mid-trib, and 3/4-trib rapture-timing scenarios require two, distinct and separated "parousia"-comings: one, for His Church, and one, with His Church. However, in the Greek text, the Greek word, "parousia" (coming) is singular and preceded by a singular definite article ("the-coming"), and followed by an identifying, (usually genitive) phrase. Therefore, unless you insist that "the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ" (2Th 2:1) is distinct from "the coming of the Lord" (1Th 4:15) and "the coming of the Son of Man" (Mt 24:27,30), the Greek text only grammatically supports one second parousia-coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This rejection of the pre-trib, mid-trib, and 3/4-trib rapture-timing conjectures appears to be completely consistent with the resurrection-timing-constraints revealed in 1Cor 15:23-24, as well as the "Last Day" resurrections that Jesus promised (Jn 6:39,40,44,54), as also the angel's promise to Daniel at "The End of the Days" (Dan 12:13).

It amazes me how schools of so called "higher learning" can totally misread the Bible.
An imminent parousia-coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, and our being "episunago"-fully-gathered together upon Him is completely contradicted by 2Th 2:1-3, because two preconditions are asserted. God's Word is Truth, and the Truth can never, ever contradict itself. This contradiction is even clearer in the Greek text of v-3, which reads, "not anyone, at-any-point-might-be-emotionally-seducing you down not-even-one pathway, except the apostasy might at-some-point-be-coming first, and the "Man of Sin" might at-some-point-be-revealed. These two pre-conditions categorically reject any imminent parousia-coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let me ask you this, if a person who is saved goes directly to heaven, then why would the dead in Christ rise from the grave if they have already been judged and are in heaven? Do they have to leave their heavenly abode to go back into the grave just to to back into their dead bodies so they can be raptured? That makes no sense. Jesus said that Lazareth sleeps. He then said Lazarus is dead. The soul sleeps until the rapture or the 2nd coming. We don't go to heaven or hell when we die. That would make us already immortal. We are mortal until the rapture and the 2nd coming. Those who are not saved and reject Jesus will face the 2nd death. Those who experience the 2nd death will be burned up and be ashes and stubble under our feet.
From what I believe Andy and other theologians say...we die and our spirit ascends...our bodies or molecules (buried, burned..whatever) are here. So we go to the first Heaven (absent from the body, present with the Lord). Then when Jesus appears (rapture) all (bodies) who are dead in Christ shall rise, then the Church where all of us will be "transformed". Therefore our dead bodies will rise (no matter what state) and be transformed, then those who are not dead but still alive in their bodies will rise and be transformed...we will then all meet Jesus in the sky and go to the second Heaven where we all will feast and celebrate Jesus's reunion with His bride.
