Filipino Tinikling Multicultural Performance 2020

- This performance was held during our Multicultural week at North High School, Torrance, California. Several culture clubs performed their own traditional dances, (like Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Polynesian, etc.) and this was the Filipino Club's dance. We practiced after school and on the weekends for months up until the performance. Many of the dancers are Filipino-American, some are half Filipino, and some are not Filipino at all, but still engaged in the club/dance and learned about Filipino culture. This was a very fun dance and I highly recommend everyone tries it!

I had TRIED this dance Tinikling in my high school days...one in of our high school program (with the first year hs to 4th year - the whole school proram.

It a lot harder if the bamboos were being slam up and down like 1 slam it down 1 slmam it down again then 2 raise it and it more thrilling its easy for them cause the slaming of the bamboom were only sideways

This is just for a school performance.trust me I've seen worse, like in another groups performance I've seen girls are wearing pants👖. And at least in this performance girls are wearing dresses even though not exactly like we wear in the ph.

Well what the hell do you expect them to do? Buy their own filipiñanas just for one performance? And u gotta remember this is just for a school performance, not a competition where they're required to have appropriate outfits. And the males outfits are sooo easy to find or diy., just a white shirt and a handkerchief and that's it. So gurl chile you're much of a perfectionist
