The label of the Eyeshadow says “SHEER matte TINT”.. so i think that’s prob why it’s so sheer and only tinting. So i think it’s doing what it’s supposed to do, but just prob not the thing for you. But i totally understand babe

i have the more brown/warm colors and i think they perform way better, but tbh they aren't my favorite. but even in their photos the blue one is PATCH CITY. i will still use mine, but they haven't really hit the mark with their eyeshadow-y products yet. and i am a glossier STAN. lolol
Glossier is one of my all time favorite make up brands. I'm an esthetician and I think once you get your skin to a healthy place visually and beneath the surface this make-up is perfect to compliment the heathy skin glow.
I'm on a mission to get my skin healthy and better naturally vs covering it with products. I've been using a tinted moisturizer from NYX the last few months and that's helped,but now being quarantined the last couple of weeks I haven't been wearing any makeup and doing chemical exfoliating masks and hydrating masks. It's been amazing! I still have a lot of redness though and some white heads.. any recommendations? I'm glad to hear an esthetician recommend a brand!!
Nicki Zufelt Be careful with the chemical exfoliants. Too many will cause redness and disrupt the barrier function (oil/water) of the skin. Too many masks from over the counter or differing brands could be causing some blockage in your pores. I recommend on a budget CeraVè products for drugstore and a quick in a pinch need. Anything else I would use cosmeceuticals from a local esthetician that’s really going to make the biggest and most effective difference. Always get advice from a professional before going to buy those more expensive products. I also think r/esthetics on reddit is a good group to ask with pictures included. I hope that helps!

With the skywash!!! You have to let the layers dry down before building. Once you do that they build beautifully!! And it helps provide even pigment across the lid. They’re meant to be a sheer wash. But it can become more pigmented 💕

I feel like the makeup style you attempted was unsuited for Glossier products so they were bound to disappoint you. It’s not supposed to be full coverage and dramatic, but more ‘your skin only better’. I’ve never tried Glossier as I feel my skin is not nice enough to pull off that natural of a look but I think this review is a little misleading in that regard.

Oily is diferent than water. Probably because it's oily you don't moist your skin. If you do it, you'll see how it is gonna be less oily with time

the eye makeup is only supposed to be lightly tapped and blended with the fingers! it’s a nice wash of light color and it’s relatively easy for me to use
The idea of not setting a cream concealer under the eyes makes me anxious

The stretch concealer sets very well with their wowder powder. It’s my holy grail duo. But honestly the concealer sets really well with other powders. It’s a great concealer if you don’t wanna wear foundation but don’t wanna look dead
I use all cream products and don't even own a setting powder but the glossier concealer creased way too much on me :((
Do you have oily skin? My skin is very dry so I never set concealer under my eyes

Glossier is my favorite brand. It’s so light and natural. The eyeshadow is my favorite. You put it on and only blend out the edges, if you touch the bulk in the middle it will come off. But it’s so fast and easy.

I just bought their perfecting skin tint and their stretch concealer a few months ago and I’m obsessed with it. I used it with a more natural face of makeup and my neighbor saw me and thought I was only wearing mascara. It is so lightweight and it looks just like your skin but better.

I'll go online to look for lashes and they usually have a picture with someone wearing them. Then I'll go and buy them at the store. Hopefully that helps.
