Thanks for making these, your voice is very clear. i really like what your doing so far. Was thinking it might be good to say have a magazine or book and go through describing the pictures or something. like say a travel magazine or anything and just point and explain images saying a little bit about them. But so far the content is great.
I understood 100% Unfortunately when I'm saying that I'm don't speak finnish well, people don't speak as slow as u (or maybe a little bit faster) And because of that it's easier to say that I don't speak at all
Kiitos paljon! Opin suomea duolingossa ja kielikoulussa, mutta tykkään sinun videosta, se on todella hyvä! - Just for listening and practicing while doing the dishes and the laundry and so on. Love it :) XOXO Ulli
Salut ! Bienvenue sur ma chaîne youtube. J'espère que vous allez bien ! Oui, je sais que c'est vraiment important parler lentement et clairement pour comprehensible input.
Of@@EasyFinnish I learned words I had never heard of like monenlainen (you used the adessive), the words for sports and for specific foods. The only one I could not find was uunilohi. The word lohi I know (salmon), so I assume uunilohi is a specific type of salmon. Also, you used some expressions like yhtäán mitään and muun muassa, which I can learn as phrase. Sometimes you used some colloquial stuff like yhdeksän -> yheksän, learing off the 'd'. Or ysäri meaning the 90-s. Stuff like phrases and new words are important to me. So that's why I remarked on it. Finally, I listened to the speech, where you sometimes "drop off" the final part of words or sentences. Like when you said "monenlaisesta", the last part is hardly audible. This is not a bad thing, it is good for listening. I think most FInns do this.
Kiitos paljon! Maybe you could even add questions at the end so we can see if we understood what you said. But even just by listening to you I feel more comfortable with my possibilities of learning
Thank you! I really love the subtitles because I started learning Finnish on duolingo, which means I can read it, but I can't speak it or "hear it". The subtitles help a lot!
Duolingo doesn't teach much. There's only 2 units for Finnish and I was able to skip the first unit with 0 experience lol Probably because I'm Estonian

Hi! You're welcome! I think on Netflix there are some Finnish series to watch. I have a lot of comprehensible input videos on my channel to watch. Yle areena is one but I think you can't watch it if you live abroad.

I am having trouble with the expression "luvun musiikista". The point is that it literally means "musicians that are read", but I am pretty sure it means something else. Maybe it means well-known musicians? Otherwise I cannot connect reading to musician. Any clarification?

1990-luku -> 90 luvun(genetiivi) musiikista.

Luku is nominatiivi and luvun is genetiivi, it doesn't mean reading. . To read is lukea. Luku is a noun and lukea is a verb.
Luku-> numbers
Kirjan ensimmäinen luku -> first chapter in a book
se on super
