    Think it is more impressive that they can identify Fish in such murky water in such dark depths that is rippling from other Birds and normal wind. Yet dive in the vicinity of one.
    Which means, if someone can copy the eyesight of these birds. They can see through ocean surfaces in a new way with cameras.

      i think i heard they also have like a protective eyelid when going into the water, i assume for protection from impact as well as being able to see underwater in some way.

      @@jabs202232 That is a very common thing for aquatic and amphibious tetrapods. In fact, having three eyelids is something of a basic trait of the tetrapoda. Many of the above-mentioned aquatic/amphibious species - as well as others - have transparent nictitating membranes (the third eyelid).
      If you have a cat or a dog you have likely already seen those membranes. In humans and most other primates, those membranes are merely rudimentary. But you can see them if you look at the inner corners of your eyes in the mirror.

      Well, birds also have one more colour receptor than humans. Probably helps as well.

    Gannets Can Walk on Land, Flying in the air and Can Swim Underwater.. Wowww That's Amazing !! I Love This Creature So Much !!
