If you were aware of the bboy culture, you would know that it has been greatly inspired by other dance styles throughout the years.
Yeah I know what u mean and I am aware of the bboy culture but I dont mix up the dances :) When I break I break, when I dance house I am dancing house, when I am locking I am locking and so on. I am competeing and mixing electro dance with breaking would just look silly and wrong. But if i am dancing experimental I try mixing everything to make and new style. But I know what you mean and I am aware of it :)

Thats like saying incorporating flexing with popping is disrespectful... Next you're going to say that popping isn't its own unique style. And yes there are many sub-genres of bboying now. I've been dancing for 12 years and I've never heard someone say that "incorporating another style is disrespectful" uhmm if anything it makes you more original and skilled in the dance form.

I know what you mean and that's cool that you have 5 more dances. But you have to remember that bboy it's his own culture, so it's style is unique. It is hip hop and combining other style of dance into it isn't really respectful. I've been bboying for 11 years now, since 2001 and I've seen that happen a bunch of times. It always got rejected. You can def add energy into top rocking if you wanted to. I'm sure you know this.
