This a brutal movie just like all the other korean movies that depict life of people who are convicted whether guilty of committing the crime or was just a fall guy. It is so sad to see the reality of how the police enforce their law in korea. This is not the only movievwith the same theme. But there is only one thing they have in common. The rampant and massive brurality. So inhumane. That's how they depict their culture.
at the beginning and at the end of the movie they talk about a tree being destroyed/not being destroyed, what is meant by that? And what kind of tree, i dont get it
It means life....he thought his life is over after he was framed for a murder but regained strength and confidence and finally cleared his name...in this way he revived his life back like the tree which is not yet rotten.....
