This is actually something I've wondered, I always thought that the FNaF three Minigames take place after FNaF two, but before Sister Location, I would often get confused, or just end up watching videos on this same topic, and just agree with that, and I did think that these minigames take place during FNaF 4, or FNaF World, because my head canon, is that, FNaF world was made by Cassidy, and the Happiest Day was made by Charlie. I still stand with that, And when the Follow Me minigames occure, I thought it could be way after FredBear Family Diner was closed, Then FNaF 2 happened, then FNaF 1 and the other games, Because (MOSTLY FROM VIDEO GAMES AND *COUGH COUGH* ROBLOX, Have the main four FNaF 1 cast, having there own separate rooms, so This could be FredBear's Family Diner?
Followme93+ is pretty much canon due to dittophobia confirming SLafter1 and Michael says in sister location that William sent him down to the sister location bunker. Dittophobia is set 10 years after the experiments which started around 1983 and in the story, the funtimes are still at the bunker. That’s even assuming it’s set after 1983, it could even be 1984 etc, and the story also mentions websites which were at popularity around 1995 (although technology may have advanced earlier in the fnaf universe). Followme88 was already weird because why would fazbear entertainment leave their newly rebranded withered animatronics at the old and abandoned Freddy fazbears pizza, they would just decay even more and also narratively, followme88 just made no sense.
This is a good theory, however you overlooked one major detail. If the safe room is sealed with Springtrap in it by the time of FNaF 3, how was the false wall installed after the closure of the building? More importantly, how was Phone Guy ALIVE to record the tape about sealing the safe room? Why would the safe room even NEED to be sealed if the location is shut down? I personally believe Follow Me takes place shortly after FNaF 2 and William broke in after the animatronics were brought back from the FNaF 2 location, but before the location opened. That would explain why Phone Guy chalks up the sealing of the safe room to "budget restrictions" since the newspaper at the end of FNaF 2 says the next location would be on a lower budget.
Because the FNaF 3 tapes weren't recorded during FNaF 1, they were recorded when the first Freddy's was open. We know this because Phone Guy talks about the use of springlock costumes, while those suits were decommisioned after the Bite of 83.
@@Supersoniq071 If that’s the case, why would the FNaF 1 location even have a safe room if it was built after they were sealed? Or if you believe the original Freddy’s and FNaF 1 Freddy’s were the same building (which I do) then wouldn’t the safe room already be sealed before Follow Me? And we know Springtrap WAS sealed in the safe room, because Phone Dude doesn’t find him until after discovering a boarded up room. So I believe it must’ve been sealed after Follow Me and before FNaF 1.
@@Toaster003 it can’t be 1983 as phone guy has no idea what fredbears is in fnaf 2 and freddy’s co-existed with fredbear’s family diner in 1983. The tapes are recorded in 1985 due to the missing children incident taking place in 1985 and phone guy mentioning how the springbonnie animatronic was noticeably moved, which was due to afton using it to commit the mci.
The bife of 87 is probably not canon anymore, and replaced by the bite of 83', in fnaf 4. And in my theory the follow minigame takes place after fnaf 2 night 4/5 (i think) and fnaf 1's phone calls were pre recorded for evry guard. So we get to make the guard before fazbear frights took them but didnt then. The movie is probably canon, so it is disproved
The bite of 87 is still canon and there’s no evidence to say it’s a retcon. Followme93+ is pretty much canon at this point due to moltenmci, dittophobia etc. Phone guy says to Mike in fnaf 1 that he worked in the office before Mike, and was finishing up his last week. The week before interactive novel which is implied to be about phone guy aka Ralph supports this. The whole “fnaf 4 was meant to be about the bite of 87” relies on if Scott is an idiot and forgot his own lore, which is just not true.
@@Songocraft help wanted 1 still has the phone call of phone guy saying the bite of 87. There’s also no reason to believe Scott took it out, seemingly because of how iconic it is in fnaf. We shouldn’t say stuff in fnaf don’t exist without any evidence. Also in a steam post, Scott separates the bite of 87 from the bite of 83, so it’s still canon.

@@Toaster003either the ghosts or fazbear entertainment sealed the saferoom. It’s practically confirmed that the phone guy tapes are in 1985

Do you think the minigames take place before or after FNaF 1? Let me know!
My answer: They happened.
True true
