I suffer from anxiety abd depression and some days .. I want to end it all but I listen to you all day long... thank you so much , especially for “you are loved” and “ “to where you are” I work with autistic children in my career ... helping them express their feelings but I’ve never experienced grief before and I prefer to think about my feelings rather than actually feel them. That was so cool. It defines where I came from and where I wish wer could be,.
A year and a half ago I lost my soul mate, my husband and our 15 yrs. old lovely baby daughter in a terrible car accident. My son who was that night turning 18 yrs old survived it. He saw everything. They were comming from their theater practice,.they were going to be in a Mary Poppins musical. After the sad and terrible event the theater gave my son time to grief yet he only took 2 weeks and went right off to practice and do the show. He was playing Bert. He sang his heart out. He tap danced just like his late sister had thought him since he had never taped before. All the shows were sold out. They did 12 in a row. Everyone was in awe for his performance after all that we had been through. Mostly him since he saw everything. I cried every time in awee seeing how his love for theater helped him. Up until this day I am 1000 percent sure that first God of course and then the arts is what helped him. My oldest daughter ran and saw them as well. The lady police couldnt keep her from running. She is an artist as well. She is actually graduating this week with a Bachelors in Arts and a minor in dance. And wants to continue to get a masters in art psychology. Her art also has helped her through it all. She wont be having her graduation because of the virus, nor she had her senior art expo nor her senior flamenco dance recital. But she is strong and positive working on art pieces to sell for Mothers Day. So in all, yes art is definetly a huge part of kids, teens and adults and should be supported sooo much. Thank U so much Josh for all U do. ThankU for being an amazing human being. ThankU for encouraging and supporting the arts. Love your voice and U are an angel. God bless U always. 🙏🙏🙏

I just graduated college and one of the largest impacts of my five year journey has been the arts and singing. I joined to choral groups outside of college and I know without them as an outlet to relax, meet with friends and be able to sing the kinds of music that I love, I most likely would not have survived the stress of college. I am so grateful to my wonderful groups, the Athens Choral Society and the Athens Symphony Chorus and I pray they survive this as there are so few groups like them in our area.
Thank you for all your supports to the arts! You are what has made covid bearable as have so many other artists!
