This is dope, I got an M3 pro from Best Buy during Black Friday, but the Legion Slim 7i was definitely a contender. I owned the 2022 version and was very impressed with the performance. The only drawback back was the fan noise, but other than that, it was awesome 🔥

First, thanks for the comment, second aren't you going to have to deal with the noises regardless if you're going to be gaming, like I will be? This is my first gaming laptop. Like, I said I wanted the M16 / G16 open boxes I was looking at.. I was bouncing back and forth and I decided to go with the M16, I was so dead set on it, until I came home from work and found users doing reviews on the Slim 7, and I was like DAMMIT, I WANT THIS NOW!!! So, I was looking at the PRO 5 from Lenovo, until I found an open box for the SLIM 7, and made my decision. It's beautiful.
I was going back and forth with ASUS, only because I was accepted for a loan of 1900$ through their progleasing.com program. And I was like, do I really want to get an open box that's semi-close to 1900$ then on top of that I would use all of the $1900 and then I would still need to pay for the leasing of said laptop. That's why I was flip-flopping, at one time I was going to go with the G16 since it was cheaper as far as an open box goes.
I'm leasing the laptop for $1,406.99. Here's how they broke it down
      Cash price $1,406.99
      Lease-to-own cost + $1,406.99
      Subtotal $2,813.98
      Estimated tax + $178.44
      12-month lease-to-own total $2,992.42
Was, told by the Best Buy people, to do the loan for 3 months instead of 12 months, So, I don't get whacked with the interest fees. So, that's my plan to pay this bad boy off in 3 months. Plus, I'm sure it will look good on your credit report, paying something off so quickly.
      Here's the 3 months breakdown
      90-day purchase option
      Cash price $1,406.99
      90-day lease-to-own cost + $59.00
      Subtotal $1,465.99
      Estimated tax + $93.09
      90-day lease-to-own total $1,559.08
I have a recurring payment of '$56.35' each week.
      Thank You

@@DaveBudness Dope deal, and yes your credit score will definitely improve if you pay it off in a timely manner. As for the noise, I have noise cancelling headphones, so I would just put those on and it was smooth af. Another thing I miss about the Legion was the keyboard, I loved doing my admin work on it, the best typing experience I've had on a laptop! Awesome computer all around 🙌🏽

I haven't touched the new laptop yet, was waiting to get screen protector in and the the keyboard cover. I'll just have to set it up, and trans files from old laptop to the new one. I'll have to look into a headset. I don't want to spend too much money as its only going to be used while visiting my parents, when I come home i have my desktop here.

Hello, I use www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster.php Also, when you sign into lenovo's site you can have them scan your system to see if theres any updates. As far as the intel graphics goes, there's www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html which will tell you if you need an update, along with there app Intel Arc Control.

Dude!! I was looking at that laptop. The M16 / G16 . Keep in mind that I was looking for open boxed goods. Both of these were two different prices . On top of that, was looking at which laptop could be upgradable and such. When I went to Best Buy the feel of the 16teens felt good, rubbery, small and light. But, I honestly think I made a good choice. This laptop looks so good in person. It does have some weight to it. It’s not truly a slim! But, it’s good enough. I don’t own the 16teens, but was super damn close in getting myself one , until I saw a video on Lenovo , and it changed my mind.
Was looking at the legion pro 5, and the 7, and slim 7. I didn’t have the funds for a 4080, 4090 series. But, I think a 4070 should be fine, I have a 3080 in my ring now. Which is great and powerful.
