The adapter is, if I remember correctly called a jumper. I went to my local shop and was able to get one for like a dollar. No particular brand sells them. It's basically a female deans connector wired so that both terminals are connected and with some heat shrink so dust dosent mess up the connection.
Hi, great video review. I have narrowed my RC search down to the HPI Trophy Flux and Traxxas Rustler VXL. I realize they are 2 different categories, but I am stuck on the 2. I would appreciate your input to help with my decision to purchase 1 of these. I am just looking to bash and play, not racing or competing, just having fun. Hope you can help. Thanks
Hello, I have a question, first I apologize if my English is not that good. I'm trying to convert my HPI Pulse Nitro to Electric & I decide to use Trophy motor mount the same one in your car. the problem I have with this mount that the bearing is loose and moving it,s not tight enough. I thought its afactory defect because I get it from eBay. then I order another one from Hpi dealer & its the same issue, the aluminum mount is slightly bigger than the bearing!!. is that normal in this motor mount. as per my experience, it should hold the center diff tightly. I hope that you could help. I couldn't find anyone talks about such issue. I can send you a video if you are using your Instagram account. Thanks!!
From my knowledge, those are two very different mounts. I do not know an easy way to do this conversion. In your case, I would see if ordering a slightly larger bearing would work. I'm sorry I can't help much with this
You may get around 20 minutes of runtime with the 2s. I've had the half shafts bend and break on my nitro version of this. Those break if all the power goes to one side and if bearings seize up.
I have no interest in buying one of these, but I watched the whole thing because, this guy is so unintentionally funny! I mean that in the best way possible.
Saqib sk24 I have seen that as well but in my testing the stock ESC wouldn't run and kept showing a high voltage error code. On the 4s batteries I run I can do wheelies no problem.
those chassis braces, really? Thanks for sharing the video. HPIRacing rc cars look like Himoto line cheap quality. ARRMA all the way. I do like that nitro truggy
Where can you get the adapter for just using 1 battery
I made it with some extra wire, shrink wrap and a deans connection
cool! great camera, that's good quality!
Is this truck compatible with the Hellfire?
What is the adapter you used for the battery? I'm looking at getting a used one and want to use 1 battery as well

Nice review👍
Thank you.

simple, ARRMA OUTKAST or Notorious for stunts, flips, wheelies... Kraton for bashing overall or the Talion for speed and handling.

Bassmonstar okay no problem. Thanks!!
How long run time would I get with two 2s lipos 5000mah 25c
And I've heard that drive shafts are really thin and break easily

Leo Roberts I appreciate the feedback! I'm hoping to make another video soon but it all depends on my schedule
im looking to buy one these hpi trophy flux soon will 6s 4200 5000 work
Saqib sk24 the ESC won't run on a 6s. the biggest battery you can use is a 5000 4s. it's limited to the dimensions of the battery compartment.
Well I have seen someone use a 6s in their hpi trophy truggy flux
Saqib sk24 I have seen that as well but in my testing the stock ESC wouldn't run and kept showing a high voltage error code. On the 4s batteries I run I can do wheelies no problem.
Right how hard it to change the shocks and drive shafts for it
Saqib sk24 it's not difficult to change shocks but driveshafts may be a problem as I don't believe there are many upgrades for them.
hey , great video , did you chanche anything on the car to let it run 53mp/h
Nope. The car was bone stock with a good battery and some nice low cut grass.
+Bassmonstar hey , thanks for youer response , also , how long can you run this car when youer battery is fully charged ?
+mtb crewriders I get about 20 minutes on a 5000mah before the low voltage stops the car. It depends on your battery.
Max 5800mAh 4S Li-Po

I do like that nitro truggy
The nitro has an upgraded front brace and it's definitely better than the electric
