You not only get a red card, you will also get banned for at least 5 matches (costing your team to lose that match and maybe the other matches you were banned for), you will also get finned by the FA, your club will fine you as punishment, your manager may also punish you by taking you out of his plans going forward and your club might sell you in the end for damaging their image (esp if it causes them to lose sales and commercial sponsorships), which means your career at that club is finished. Other big clubs may refuse to sign you and you will lose your commercial sponsorships, esp if that 2 seconds of your uncontrolled emotions gives you a reputation as a violent player, which will go on to affect your chances of increasing your income, and you will live with the regret.
