This song interpreted by me explains how no matter how much success we achieve, goals we accomplish, love we encounter, we will always have an inherent need for something deeper which I call a yearning for the divine! "Lost" is where we end up when we seek anything but God. People, pets, experiences all come to pass and our egos and our arrogance will eventually be humbled to our return to our Source. So don't cling too hard to anything of this world because the "shine" always inevitably wears off.
