I have some ideas for your depression but don’t know how to get a message to you... is there a private way to send messages? Been there lol. Wonderful video. I still eat tons at night even though I eat in the day routinely for over 2 years! My brain seems terrified to let go of it’s safety net of eating at night, and I’m just going with it for now. So I appreciated your comment about how long it takes for that part to dwindle after eating proper meals!

Sure, thank you! Could you send me a DM on instagram? And yay yes that's all we can do, just go with it, I'm glad to hear you're responding to your body :D xxx

Thank you for another super helpful video! Do you still eat a night snack in addition to dessert or does dessert count as the night snack?

Just a thought, but wondering if it “counts” seems pretty restrictive still... trying to eat the minimum while still recovering. Doesn’t work that way. Your goal should be to eat if you are thinking about food or know you have not had enough to make mental and physical progress, rather than trying to bargain. Make sense? Dessert can be part of supper. Bedtime snack is bedtime snack. They may be hours apart, or back to back, but they are all good and needed!!

best to take venlafaxine in the morning as it works by boosting effect of noradrenaline (its a selective noradrenaline reuprtake inhibitor, same as an ssri but less so on the serotonin front). I found my insomnia worsened initially but I think it improves with time. are you still on mirtazapine? also did you notice any effects of escitalopram (I'm considering it as an option)

yeah that's what I thought too so I've been taking venlafaxine in the morning but still feeling restless at night. okay that's good to know, thank you, hopefully my sleep gets better once my body gets used to the medication. nah I'm not on mirtazapine anymore; it was amazing for getting me to fall asleep, but eventually made me super tired during the day too which I couldn't handle. escitalopram has been great for me, particularly in the first year, since then less so but am still happy i went on it. only effects i noticed were lightheadedness in the first few days, and vivid dreams.
