@Usagi1992 Granted, he screwed up in the end to the point of not being able to recover. If you notice, he wasn't trying to get a 100% completion. Also, the red part on the bar was a passing point of sorts, so he wasn't even able to pass the song, much less get a great complition rate. Wouldn't it be frustrating to you to go through a long and hard level of a game, no save points, only to be mowed down by a boss, then having to start over the whole thing? That's about what happened here.
To everyone who upped the failure in Japan = B : In Beatmania, it doesn't matter how well you do so long as you keep over the 80% beat bar. He failed because it dropped when he stopped playing, not because he got a B.
No, you need 80% life by the end of the song. You’re allowed to dip below that during the song, as long as you can finish the song above 80%. Up to that point before the last sequence of jackhammers, he was cruising at a cool 100%. But he had 56% by the end of that sequence, and even though the song wasn’t done, the last few notes might’ve only given him 8-10% if lucky.
during the last part he went for a scratch with his left hand, and when it came back to the keys he got completely out of position. you can see him tapping the spaces between the keys then realizing in horror what he did and finally slamming his palm in frustration
@grimwing99 Beatmania IIDX is known for having progressively harder patterns and more penalising life settings the further a song goes. So, in the last 5 seconds, you can miss a single cluster at full health and instantly fail, while if you did the same at the start of the song before gaining life, you'd still survive.
@HatchuneMiku01 Actually, it's the normal groovegauge (it would say HARD on the loading screen, and the barr would begin at 100% and completely red), but in this song, if you mess up even slightly at the end, you dip below 80% and you can't bring it back up because the last few bars have very few notes.
@UreksatheJade Actually he was. His groove meter fell so low near the ending and I guess he knew there were not enough notes left to raise it back up and clear the song. But yeah it's hilarious how he just gave up :)
@WackoMcGoose you need an 80% on your meter on the bottom to pass the song. There were nowhere near enough notes left to bring it back up after the sudden drop.
@aussieamon its a mode which has you playing both sets of keyboards/turntables 'double play' ... as someone who has a hard enough time with the single player mode, I just never even dreamed of attempting it.
@WackoMcGoose His bar dropped really far right before he ran off. He missed too many and probably didn't have enough keys left in the song to build his bar back up.
@kakusei3000 I would love to play more iidx, unfortunately, the only beatmania machine that I know of is a twelve hour drive away in Brisbane (i live in canberra). There is probably one somewhere in sydney as well, but that is still too far for a game. One of the local arcades here has DDR, that Ouendan type arcade game, drumania and at least one other rythm game, but no beatmania. Hopefuly there will be one when the one being refurbished reopens.
Then he shuts the window behind him. Typical polite Japanese.
Still the most accurate depiction of your average doubles player
dp people arent humans
I like how there's a little escape hatch near the game for these sorts of situations.
I know I get so mad sometimes that I have to jump out a window.
The Japanese guy at the end says "I don't want to do this anymore!".
This is the most epic rage quit session ever. FPS Rage Quits have NOTHING on this.
"うわあああああ!もう嫌だ!!"
Then he drops down the first floor window.

これホントに好き
2:08 "aaah, I'm sick of this!"
2:15 "farewell, my friend"
To everyone who upped the failure in Japan = B :

I don't get it

@@baerishlyakita3711It was actually 66. Because he got a Pgreat when ragequitting.
during the last part he went for a scratch with his left hand, and when it came back to the keys he got completely out of position. you can see him tapping the spaces between the keys then realizing in horror what he did and finally slamming his palm in frustration
The way he shuts the window behind him is pure win
If this wasn't a case of "I must go, my people need me" I don't know what is.
Defenestration rage quit. Awesome
I love the fact that he was considerate enough to close the window behind him.

That guy is still seriously good at doubles!
I watched this four times. hahahaha
Damn an old catastrophe comment
Thanks Woolie for this funny gamer moment

i liked how he was nice enough to close the window on his way out.
For a second I thought it was a high story building.
This is such an epic gamer moment
old but gold
I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE
That's some skill he's got on that machine..
@UreksatheJade Actually he was. His groove meter fell so low near the ending and I guess he knew there were not enough notes left to raise it back up and clear the song. But yeah it's hilarious how he just gave up :)
The game amazes me more then the ragequit, how fast and much coordination that must require is crazy. :o
Oh this is nothin compared to keyboard mania
the wadsworth constant applies
The best ragequir
This is the best RageQuit I've ever seen XD
Thank God that arcade was built on the ground floor...
This looks amazingly difficult.
@panstyle "Mou, yada" as in "No more, make it stop!" Derp.
you may have had a rage quit
but you didnt have a out of the window rage quit
Hahahahahahaha. That was awesome
Idra has left the game.
一度見てしまったら定期的に見たくなる動画
@WackoMcGoose you need an 80% on your meter on the bottom to pass the song. There were nowhere near enough notes left to bring it back up after the sudden drop.
he left the way he came in
That was awesome.
Too many notes can drive a man insane.
Goodness gracious.
Idra left his wallet.
By calculations, 23 notes to go by the time that happens and the life gauge is only at 66...
I wish I had a window to run out like that XD
@aussieamon its a mode which has you playing both sets of keyboards/turntables 'double play' ... as someone who has a hard enough time with the single player mode, I just never even dreamed of attempting it.
Insane skill!
Best Rage Quit Ever!
@DaFreak4ever
Not enough life left to pass the song: you need at least 80% at the end or you fail.
Didn't know that arcades had a "FK, I'm out" window next to rhythm games for rage-quits
Idra has left the building.
This is why I miss arcades...
@DarkestVisions here's a fact from a beatmania player: B rank is getting a 44.44% to 55.55% on the song
What's with that guy ? escaping from window ? LOL
I'd rage quit like this if I didn't live on the third floor of an apartment building.
truly dp moment
forgive me uncle grandfather
@freecomkcf No, that's a C. B starts at 5/9ths of maximum EX score, A at 2/3rds, AA at 7/9ths, and AAA at 8/9ths.
too bad that arcade wasn't on the 50th floor.
2:04
and then the hidden meme was born.
@WackoMcGoose His bar dropped really far right before he ran off. He missed too many and probably didn't have enough keys left in the song to build his bar back up.
The biggest question is, どうして? Why did he ragequit while doing so well?
He ran home because he learned his Gundam was having an affair with his pillow wife.
@Savannahsens3 Nope, this is the actual speed. The music in the video matches up with my copy of Sasoribi perfectly.
Wadsworth Constant applies.
Dude left his wallet...
@freecomkcf i never knew that. cool info
whats the common AAA average for ddr?
anyone know where to get this song for bms or o2mania?
ULTIMATE RAGEQUIT!
@Kuyozaki yep, albiet it being a one story window... Epic though!
Best ragequit evah.
Beethoven used to do that all the time, too.
Farewell, my friend.
lmao brilliant
I think the dude left his wallet.
he probably just went to another arcade...
I feel like this music's from castlevania.
@kakusei3000

I can't even tell what he ragequit about. Didn't seem like he was on some big streak or anything.
Alright, who else saw that and thought, "Dude, chill out!"
Best fail quit I have seen for this game.
Oh hey look he left his wallet on the game!
NICE RAGEQUIT!
@SFKhoa Because Kevin Butler VP of Rage Quitting Prevention sent us all here.
あああああああもうやあだああああああああ!!!!!!!(バチンバチン
and this is only set on easy Asian difficulty!!
thumbs up to KB and EPIC rage-quit LOL!
Thanks Liam
no pane, no gain
EPIC RAGEQUIT
Terribly and once he's done he jumps out of a window?
ragequit of the ragequits.
anyway, i tought they were 2 person playing.:D
it's called beatmaniaIIDX
@girlwithafunnyhat11
*nods* that's a good point. I have had moments like that happen to me before.
One word: RAGEQUIT
You doctor yet!? No? Come back when you doctor!
@karntom101 Well, that's what difficulty settings are for.
@tlsviddies he missed like three or four notes and this hard mode it punishes you for missing and it looked like he was almost to passing it too.
Great rage quit.
...did he just leave behind his wallet?
Hmm... this could go worse for him.
2:06 XD
He hasn't lost yet, why does he quit? The game is still running when he jumps out of the window.
