WoW! Finally Darian exposes the Reilly culture in North Carolina. This is the first I have seen or heard a NC player admitting that Reilly didn't stop after leaving the Thorns. Along with dominating the league during that time the players had to be complicit in keeping the Reilly on going abuse covered up....

5 million fund? WOW, that is so low, considering the harm. What is happening here. It should be a million per player, minimum.

Wow. No wonder why it’s so hard for leagues to survive, much less thrive. Why is it the leagues fault??Maybe the team or the persons involved but the league???? No way the league can thrive with these types of things. Stuff like this happens in every country in the world. Is it the countries fault. Absolutely not. Is it the state’s fault no. It is the person or persons involved fault that is it !!!This is why prices are rising in every aspect of our lives . To many people can sue and get money from it. Not saying they weren’t done wrong , stuff like this happens all the time but you can’t say it’s the leagues fault because a few individuals did stupid and disgusting things. I’m going through something similar with my company and a multi million dollar company may have to shut down and lay off everyone because of one lawsuit when all the blame is on one person. One person on her own accord with her own brain did something disproportionate, disgusting and just plain stupid but now thousands of employees and their families will be affected by this. This is insane. Congratulations NWSL. You have now opened Pandora’s box and you will get sued over and over again. Sadly I don’t know if the league can survive this with. ***Just because the person that did you wrong doesn’t have much money should not mean you can sue their whole company or league in this case ****
I’m not against steps to prevent stuff like this from happening but the monetary loss for a company because of one or a few individuals is what could ruin this league and other leagues and companies.

It is the organization that can put in place processes that prevent this. Forcing leagues and teams to pay money when they operate a system that allows it is the best way to encourage them to put in place measures to prevent it. They should be doing it out of basic decency, but welcome to capitalism: we motivate people with $. That's all this is.
