Shredder Sub Zero is one of my favorite designs of Sub Zero. The MK11 version nearly captured the look, but I want to see Shredder Sub Zero’s whole appearance in MK12. The white skin and eyes, even his armor made him hundred times cooler (no pun intended).
Your fight with Scorpion in Sky Temple might be the most climatic MK fight I have ever seen, everything is perfect, down to Scorpion's Hara Kiri, where the thunder synchronise perfectly with announcement and falling on the floor.
With MK9 being a retelling of MK1-3, X being a twist on 4, and 11 turning into something like Deadly Alliance once Shang Tsung entered the picture, it would be interesting to see 12's take on Deception's concepts. For one, we could finally catch a glimpse of Orderrealm and Chaosrealm, moving beyond Earth and Outworld.
Omg, you are kinda right tho about mk1. It was in fact a deception that happen in the story but with a plot twist. Even damashi is mentioned in the story. I just finish mk1 and it looks like the story is like the combination of deception and armageddon.

I’m thinking of importing this game to japan, so sorry if this is a random question. If you’re in the middle of a arcade run, and you change character by pausing and pressing change, does it reset or change the arcade ladder or is it still the same?

having an actual konquest mode would be great too, but I wouldn't expect too much from NRS

I am not sure that the character change option is available during the fight. But you can switch when you lose during the arcade run.
