The Cayo Perico heist single-handedly made the Phantom Wedge a must own vehicle. You are going to steal so many boats, and spawning your own Wedge is like hitting the easy button. The Tuner's dlc helped even more since you can use your wedge for the meth heist.

The coolest thing I've found with trucks and anything with a tall exhaust pipe is, as long as the tip of the exhaust is above the water you can drive underwater, also swim down and get in and out of it. So that new car with stupid tall exhaust tips in the car club scene or whatever would be interesting. I tested this out at the dam at the end of the freeway. We drove underwater with a couple of trucks and mucked around.
I was doing a sell stock mission from the Bunker, and I received this truck and I fell in love with it! The speed of this truck seems to be faster than the regular Phantom and also it looks badass! I wish this truck had upgrades to make a speed demon Big Rig. You can customize the MOC cab and add perfomance upgrades but why not the Phantom Wedge?
I have a lot of fun with the Phantom Wedge but it is just too large to enter anywhere customization is possible. Maybe one day Rockstar will remember that it exists and give us a place to customize it!

Agreed. Though I think one spawns in the lobby when you do the auto-shop contract; you just gotta know where and then go get it (it's usually down by the S. Shambles garage, in that open dirt area just across the street).

You can't keep that one, sadly. You can't drive it into the Vehicle Warehouse (where the Phantom Wedge is stored), so there is no way to get the white one from the prep into storage.

I have the phantom wedge from the longfin Cayó Perico heist prep and I refused to get rid of it so I bought a vehicle warehouse and a garage for my office trying to see if I could get away with owning one without buying it and now I have my answer. So thank you‼️ even though sadly I have wasted a bunch of money & time 🤦🏼♂️… still think I’m going to buy one because what the heck I owe on a vehicle warehouse now🤷🏼♂️

The phantom wedge is the only vehicle I know that can’t but really should be able to have upgrades. Especially with the tires. I also think that alternative wedge types should be an upgrade. Stubby, ramp, pushed back. I think it would be neat.
Yeah, I agree completely. It should be able to drive into the Arena workshop (the Cerberus fits, this would too) and get a whole host of customizations. Ties, wedges, cosmetics, armor, liveries. It was a huge missed opportunity.
fun fact, I guess, it is Technically a submersible, vehicles only get determined waterlogged when the stock placement of the exhaust on that vehicle is submerged, so you can drive the Wedge and some other certain vehicles is some rivers or shallow beach spots. this game is built perfectly.

Just request a new one through the Interaction Menu or go to your vehicle warehouse where a new one will be waiting. You don't go through Mors Mutual Insurance for special vehicles.
well, it's not a TOTAL waste. The Phantom Wedge is good for a bit of fun now and then. Need to blow off some steam? Call up the Wedge and just ram your way through traffic for half an hour. It's GREAT for that!

@@VaingloriousGaming It’s object class is a Euclid, you use it to plow through traffic/cops to cause havoc in legion square, after that, get out of legion square through the highway/expressway and blend in with the traffic like as though nothing happened.

you can use a Phantom Wedge in the meth heist even if you don't own one; it spawns in the mission itself, you just gotta look for it.

Can't you get a white one by keeping the one used in the cayo prep mission? May be a dumb question, but I haven't tried it yet.

yeah, it's stupidly overpriced for it's usefulness. I've used it *maybe* a dozen times since I bought it. but it's always a laugh when I do!

I used it in Longfin Haul, definitely made the setup quicker! But it's pretty expensive just to buy for a heist prep setup thingy.
