I’ve faced opponents who use that card but the thing is, they only make my narwhal stronger because Xinyan gets rid of them with her burst. Me watching this video reminded me of how they actually work and that they’re not just freebies 😭

I call it the punishment deck, which focusing more on punishing the opponents from various actions. it's quite fun messing up and irritate the opponent
Mausoleum: punishing for drawing cards
Seiral island: punishing for healing
Scorpion arcane card: punishing for building energy
you can also add hutao for punishing the opponents from summoning.

sadly Mausoleum isnt a very good card since it in-fact usually helps your opponent draw even more cards

@@ascreamingarcticfox5395 not really tho bc u put more cards in the deck where it's harder to get the card they want. Yes they can draw more with FK but they can do it only once per turn and u stop them from tuning and getting more cards bc they will be capped

But the mosuleum is bad against like xinyan whale

@@mustafaugurkoz5081 yes but it realistically only creates 2 of those cards. magic decks dont really need every card in the world to succeed (this is the only deck is counters), and it can give your opponent the one card your opponent needs to succeed. not to mention, its usually just better to put in cards that benefit you way more than adding in an ok counter card that your opponent can easily play around

I went against a mausoleum with a discard deck and it didn't even bother me because all of those cards are being discarded
