So many things okay in this replay. Let´s see: 1. Really good target selection (Zieten, Amagi, FdG and Azuma at an extent are not plane destroyers), 2. Wonderful drops, especially against "vertical" (not sided) and small targets, 3. Excellent planes preservation (flak avoiding, use of speed), just to say some. I do have some observations on spotting and CV positioning, but like it matters. Really useful to improve myself in using that CV.
Thanks mate :) Well, you shouldnt forget that this was Arms Race. With all those buffs in this mode, you have a much easier game and can deal much more damage as the enemies heal over time and get more HP. Your planes have also more HP, they deal more damage and i guess, they restore faster. This match was one of 10.000 where nearly everything went üerfectly well. The enemies positioning was perfect for me. For example when i dropped FdG, then Zieten, again Zieten and then FdG (who dies before my torps hit but anyway) in a row. I also had luck with my AP bombs. 3 cit on Asuma and Roon was really nice but not typical. Also the one DD who took my torps or the Cossack that got killed instantly after getting spotted.
Overall, i make about 100.000 damage per game with Shokaku. Sometimes less, sometimes more depending on the enemies (Hightier/Lowtier, own teams performance and so on).
@@Lc4Hunter yeah shokaku is an absolute beast (at least she was when i was still playing), i love her low concealment allowing me to get close and just shit out airstrikes

small question: did you target Azuma cause it was the AL version or have you had it just as a target of oportunity ?
bit late... but it just was the best target for me. Especially when this player was at the island as i could use it for cover. And after causing so much damage on Azuma, i just wanted to remove it from the match. Nothing more, nothing less.
Just recently I got Tier 8 US BB North Carolina and oh boy I've met Shokaku in 8 out 10 match. That CV is nightmare to play against, thankfully I can dodge most of their torp
Really? No way you can dodging Shokaku's torps except the player is a potato

How do you repair the torpedo bomber so fast?from 2/10 to 10/10 so fast... Im using the same cv and its takes me from 2/10 to 10/10 in like 2 minutes
How the quack ur dispersion on the torps are perfect even tho the aiming sector is like a slice of pizza🍕?
Thats a bug of the replay. Most torps where perfectly aimed but in the replay, that is not displayed correctly :( Same with the AP bombs. Both drops where "perfect" which means, the circle was as small as it can get.

Kaga, shoukek’s torp aint scary as kaga
More torp more flood more hit
The Kaga is the harder hitting one against BBs and heavy Cruisers with her torps, so i guess she is. Shokek is more like a flying Paolo Emilio for precise and hard hitting attacks. But in my opinion, Kaga lacks the ability to annoy light cruisers and destroyers like the Shokek can do. I prefer the Shokek to the Kaga after playing her a while and getting better with her torps - especially in regard of killing DDs. It takes a while to become good in it and it will not work against good DD players but for the majority of the DDs in randoms, it works well. At least you spot and disturb them :D
The AP bombs are also a nice damage dealer between the torpedo drops. For Kaga: The most effective tool are you torps. The bombs are mediocre and the rockets... well... lets not talk about them :D
@@Lc4Hunter Kaga's bombs are her only way for her to deal with destroyers. One bomb will do more damage than a good rocket strike
damn i wish i had these kinds of match ups in MY cv games... not many AA ships. dispersed enemy. i never get that lmao

Shokaku is even stronger then the T10 japanese CV.
I agree... i had a lot of fun with Shokaku, then switched to Haku and i was really disapointed about her performance.

Nah, that wasnt salty at all... the Somers was really stupid rushing in there... all ships where spotted and that there are some with hydro, should be known if you are playing on T10. Dont you think? :D
I'll do the same what he did. I know exactly how it feels as a CV player. That Somers just donated his HP pool to the enemy. Sadge
Shokaku torp bomber same dangerous as Kaga torp bomber
Indeed. The only difference is that Kaga has HE bombers so it can do more sustained damage IMO

Well... i thought i posted a link to Wows Fitting tool where i configured my Shokaku and the Captain, but as it seems TH-cam deleted the post or blocked it (maybe because of the link?)
So here again in written form:
Modules: Air Groups Mod 1, Aircraft Engines Mod 1, Aerial Torpedoes Mod 1, Torpedo Bombers Mod 2, Flight Control Mod 1
Captain is Takeo Suzuki who has better Survivability Expert which is important:
1. line: Air Supremacy, Search and Destroy
2. line: Tproedo Bomber, Improved Engines, Repair Specalist
3. line Sight Stabilization, Aircraft Armor, Survivability Expert
4. line: Proximity Fuze

@@Lc4Hunter I prefer shok over hak I got to hakuryu and my winrate is terrible with her I dont really enjoy the tier 10 meta and dealing with halland every two matches and four dd's is not fun so I'm waiting till the new matchmaking limits on dd's but shokaku is really fun now to play again just got kraken with her and her rocket planes are not to bad either better than hakuryu rocket planes xd
