    I just discovered your videos. I think you have something here. The way you explain and show, especially in your other videos, is great. I know this comment is on a video over a year old, but you should really make more.

    I’ve never hit off a tee or done anything different with my old baseball swing until now. Had Lumbar fusion at 47yo in Aug 2023. Just getting back into it and figure now is the time to work on things (cut swing) I’ve taken long breaks between playing before (kids/work) but its one of the few things that fires me up and makes me feel alive. And Fuck golf, so here I go with a new tee.

    Great advice. I see so many of the Younger guys coming up swinging out their backside during BP then struggle in game time play

    I love the fire!! It's fantastic that you get so fired up knowing that people halfass BP. It shows that you want people to improve and become better hitters. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    About time someone called them out who cares about radar work or how hard you can hit it. People are worried about getting followers than doing work!!! You sir said it best!!

    Great feedback Ryan. I started my journey using a batting tee in the mid 90s. I like to set up in the box where I normally would in relation to the plate and move the T in and out and up and down to simulate the exact same scenarios you’re speaking of. Helps you to also identify where you are looking for pitches when you go to live pitching to hit the same holes. Folks should never under estimate the value of T work. Whether in the garage, in a tunnel, or outside at the park. Huge value until you can find time to hit with a good BP pitcher.
    Kudos on your channel.

      What's your opinion on automatic slow pitch machines at batting cages

    • @rickleith-seniorsoftball
      @rickleith-seniorsoftball ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ticonderoga8000 other than old-school batting cages. I’ve never hit off of one of those machines. I’ve always either had a BP partner or solo work off of tea. Sorry I can’t help. I do not enjoy, hitting in tunnels, or indoor cages. My personal feeling.

    awesome videos, down to earth guy with great tips on hitting and describes a large portion of the dudes I play with/against with the constant focus on trying to hit it far rather than hit according to the situation.
