what i learnt in oops is that encapsulation is wrapping up data and its functionality under single unit like class or package etc. in general terms like a capsule. whereas abstraction is hiding the important data and displaying only the relevant data. am i wrong??
By definition, that is what it means. Encapsulation is indeed the process of binding data under a single entity so that it can be used later without having to spend extra memory or writing extra lines of code. Abstraction on the other hand, is hiding the logic and showing relevant information. Thanks :)
