      at UK,
      Yes I recommend longer videos cover the full topic like what we do in the ground round
      With your talent way of presentation, this will be as reference to study, and Keep posting the reference papers to support your videos.
      Regarding the parents' education, I recommend short videos to understand the condition, and what they have to know in simple
      Good luck

    I was born with this in 1989 and it seems medical advances since then have really helped. It was much more rare when I was born. I was in the hospital for 4 months. As a 34 year old women I’ve had 7 surgeries due to my gastroschisis, one being cosmetic on my scar and to make me a new belly button since mine was on my side. One surgery was appendix removal, a total of 8. When I was a teenager, I lost both of my fallopian tubes one at 15 years old and one at 17 due to the amount of scar tissue. Obviously this caused me to never be able to have children.
    I also have been diagnosed with IBS and can go weeks without movement or I’m on the opposite side of that. I deal with a lot of belly pain.

    • @TalaTalksNICU
      @TalaTalksNICU  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh I’m so sorry Sandra- that sounds so difficult. I’m sorry about your fallopian tubes too- whether you wanted babies or not it never feels good to have that decision take away like that. And now IBS :( I’m so sorry for everyone you’ve been going through. I hope you find some pain relief and some peace xx

      Hello! Thanks for your comment!!! We can’t really film babies in the NICU - for their protection- but babies bellies normally look quite normal!!! Surgeons are good at faking little belly buttons and they’re doing surgeries so non-invasively now that the bellies looks great!

      Wait monthly trivia game? Like where and what time?!! What a great “team building” activity- however much I can’t stand that word!!!! But fun!!!

    • @laraeb2514
      @laraeb2514 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @TalaTalksNICU Our night practice group started it a few months ago as a morale booster/ educational experience. Each month has a theme. Each person has their unit phone that we start a group chat and send out the questions, us in the practice council, monitor the responses. The first to answer correctly wins. We send out the questions between care times around the time most have completed charting. We also give a group paper quiz some months to each patient care zone so the team has to work together over the course of the night to answer ( we have a Lot of new staff so we wanted people to get to know each other). Questions include general knowledge and policy/procedure items to refresh people's memories in a fun way. Bonus rounds can be random trivia about each other, our providers, or pop culture ... we learned the hard way that Grey's Anatomy questions are too polarized and best to stay away from .... asking how Derek died..... it escalated so quickly... people were not ok, lol. It's a good deal of work to pull off, but the response was so positive we will continue as long as the team likes.

    • @TalaTalksNICU
      @TalaTalksNICU  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      HAHAH Greys Anatomy was too much!! I love love love that you do this- I always think must be harder for night shift to feel connected - what a brilliant idea!!! Well done you- fun and educational and bonding and no extra homework time needed (not like all those team building activities that basically just take you away from your family!!). If it's ever a live trivia thing- let me know!! haha
