@@melbalawson3250 Yea they don't fully cover hbcu's like they should but I'm in Dallas we have access to pretty much anything.. but mark my works.. in a couple of years, it'll be just as big becuz these same ol teams been on tv for years & people need something new becuz most games are predictable asf.. hbcu's are unpredictable. Also the fans have to step up & start going to more games becuz the stands be empty sometimes so you can see why they don't cover.. need more Alumni & parent support

Swac officiating is horrible!! They tried to keep this game close for southern.. cheatin asess.. 2 TDs were called back
SU always get calls in Baton Rouge unfortunately. Without that and the slip that allowed the first SU TD, this game whould've been 41-7 easy but a win is a win either way

JSU improved but redzone and playcalling has to get better. On that 1 and 5 after a turnover. Run twice. When JSU has them pinned 3rd and 11. The defense package was too soft. They picked up easy. Still coming together leaving 2 many points on the field.

It seems that they don't trust they DBs to go band for band with the opposition's receivers so they calling soft coverages but there was a press coverage in there. They'll probably call it more if they get a guy who's good at press or if these dbs step up

@@terrenceboone5206A 16 time SWAC Champion without Deion plus his 2 titles equal 18 overall which is 3rd all-time behind Grambling's 25 and Southern's 19. We were on hard times when Deion came around but JSU historically has been good, not just the Deion years.

I would never speak on a school history before I research it because outside of a few schools, Alabama, Ohio State, USC, Michigan, UGA and a handful of others, everyone else people only know about what they are doing now. That's only because those are the main schools in the spotlight. But I assure you, Jackson State has been winning for way longer than now. And this isn't a knock towards Deion because we benefitted having him as our coach and he also benefitted being in Jackson the last 3 seasons.
@@MrKingpin1205 that's exactly my point. Those schools you mentioned, you don't need to Google. Deon brought HBCU to the forefront where the rest of the world had to Google the HBCU schools to learn about their history. Deon made HBCU relevant again.
