I agree, but it’s a weird kind of nostalgia for me, like I know I’ve heard it before but I can’t remember where or from what. I’ve been trying to figure out the genre sense I first found this mod. I know what it sounds like, that effect and melody 4 represent it perfectly but I can’t remember what it’s specifically called.
Effect 1 and Effect 5 are incridible trippy because of how much work they put into the vibration animation Also I love how they took inspiration from other official so far so good versions for the sounds aswell
this honestly have great potential, just more adjustment in sound production (there were some obvious cuts in loops, some sounds overpower others, some becomes overpowered, i could hear some clashes) and animation (in effects there were some that have too much motion blur) and also just missing the two voice parts. not much of a fan of instruments mostly made using midi/sound files (like most mods i've seen) but honestly here they sound very good (the only non-vocals i dislike here is effects 4, but effects 2 and melody 4 and 5 is amazing)
here is what i can put up in the bonus story So basically a guy wakes up and goes outside, getting greeted by others, but then he saw a flying soul, he followed it in the woods, the soul gave him 4 powerful gems, he doesn't know why she gave him the gems but he's thankful for it, he then suddenly hear a bang, when he tried to check for it, he saw civilians turning into horrible looking zombies, he is in a zombie apocalypse, he then suddenly remembered the gems the soul gave, so he's ready to use them
I think that some souls are stored in these stones, and these beings have been hunting for them for a long time, in order to absorb them, perhaps because these stones contain the souls of great people, and these beings want absorb them to become stronger and destroy the whole world. And this person is a certain chosen one to whom the angel handed over the stones, since his strength is already running out, and he is still young, and he is able to save the world.
The animations look a little weird in my opinion but this is still a very good mod Edit: I get that is is still in development and its just an early release so dont get mad at me

Hey Fernando does the third melody looks like seek weel maybe that's true so like my theory is that they were worshiping to him but then the worshiping went wrong and ink came that's why u can see black ink in his body and then he turned black and became seek and that's why that explains that he can make eyes in walls and that's why he has five eyes (he's a god btw)

Overpowering and chaotic, good individually but not really good for a mix like normal, definitely shouldn't be mixing any more than 4 polos at the same time imo.
This mod is trying to do too much and some of the beats and effects just sounded discordant and grating. However melodies 3-5 were amazing and almost makes up for the faults if you want to only play with 3 sounds.
