To answer your question about Marshall and Forrest Law, Forrest is the son of Marshall. You can see them both in Yoshimitsu's ending in Tekken 2. Forrest ran away from home with Paul Phoenix, Marshall's best friend, to enter the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3. He was in Tag 1 and Tag 2, and mentioned in 5 in Marshall's story mode. Forrest hasn't been in any canon games after 3, though. Hope that answers the question.

Since he died in the story but instead of Raiden reviving him, Shinnok or Onaga since Onaga revived all of Liu Kang's friends after Deadly Alliance and Shinnok has the souls of the characters that died. I think Liu Kang will win in the Bruce Lee inspiration 4 way match. Liu Kang is also my favorite of the 4(or 3).
