Just made this and Ohmygosh!!! SO cute!!!!! I couldn’t get my vines to curl so I alternated 1sc/2sc down the chain. Thank you for this amazing pattern 🧡 now I need a matching sweater or booties 🧶
I just finished my first hat for 0-3 months,. I had a hard time following where you were putting the first stitch after the ss to join and after the bphc. I think it was due to the way you are holding your yarn and project piece. I too did the sc, 2sc method of curling the stems! I'm making hats to donate to a hospital and will not be able to demonstrate the twist to curl the stems. The hat is so adorable!
Any1 w an idea on how we know how many to do to continue sizing up? Theres no pattern on either link i clicked and i have yet to find something telling me how to know for myself how to increase.
The complete pattern with all sizes is available to view on the blog: www.hanjancrochet.com/the-pumpkin-beanie-hat-free-crochet-pattern/ All you have to do is subscribe to be able to see the full content. Alternatively you can buy the pattern on Etsy or Ravelry where you will receive all sizes as a pdf download. 🙂
For some reason, I can’t get on my rivalry account. I need to make 0 to 3 months how many stitches and what size hook I can probably figure out the rest.
If you click on the link, you're taken to the full pattern on the blogpost, which gives the whole written pattern: www.hanjancrochet.com/the-pumpkin-beanie-hat-free-crochet-pattern/
Ive been crocheting for however many is from ab 12 to 35 yrs and i cant keep up w the stem stuff ure crochetign too fast for me to see what you are doing. I dont know the terms yet fully by the terms… i just do the stuff. & i have NO IDEA WHAT WIZARDRY ppl r doing on their yarn. I can always see every move made on someone elses but mine looks like a garbeld up mess and cant define where one place is from another so i have no idea if im doing it right or putting the single crochets into chains or correvr chain holes or not
You can try slowing my video right down so that you can see each stitch placement! That might help or try concentrating on your tension, maybe you crochet tightly or loosely or maybe you change between - this can affect what the finished fabric looks like! 🙂
Because you're talking very fast it would also help if you put the print of the pattern as you go along as some videos do I cannot locate who are you have it printed as for different sizes
Bought your pattern and made a hat for my nephew, a high school history teacher. He loves seasonal hats to wear to school. So fun. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this pattern and tutorial! Also, after just watching how you make a magic circle, I can actually do it much better now! :-)
I love this hat, and I will be making some for my Grandkids

That's a good idea, too! I did sc2tog down the chain, but I might try this for the next one.
Lovely pattern, and I will be heading over to Ravelry next, but... how has nobody mentioned that gorgeous little face yet? What a beautiful boy ❤
Gosh these are adorable. Looks like i'll be making this for my son's first Halloween 🎃
Thank you so much for this pattern!! I made one already and I plan on making one more. It's really easy to follow and it's super cute!

Thank you! I'm glad you were able to figure it out in the end. 😄
Oh my goodness I am so not ready for Fall yet but I guess if I went ahead and made this then I would be getting closer! This is beautiful, thank you!
I'm not ready either! I do love Fall though :)

Thank you! 😊
You hold the yarn just like me 😊 😊
I really like your work ❤
Thank you so much 😀
I can’t afford to buy this patter is there a place it is free with ads. Looking for stitch count to make 3-6 month size hat. Thank you.
How do I download the pattern for bigger size hats
You can view all sizes for free for subscribers on the blog: www.hanjancrochet.com/the-pumpkin-beanie-hat-free-crochet-pattern/
Oh my this is so cute😊
Thank you! I love cute pumpkins!
I just did one of my 2yr old son.
Oh fabulous!
How many rounds before making the headband
It’s cute but how many rounds for a 8 month old baby?
I got a flat circle but not cap
How far have you gone? The crown will look like a flat circle until you move onto the straight section of the hat. 🙂
I like to sc2tog for the twirls ... it makes them curl better 🙂
Yes! That works really well too 😊

I can't find on the description how much I need for each size. Could you please let me know for 6 months old?
You just need about 1 ball of yarn per hat for any size. This is based on Brava Worsted - Worsted Weight (category 4) - 100% Acrylic, 208yds/100g
I can’t find the changes for different sizes, everything says it’s in the description below. There is nothing

It’s really great but could you do it a bit slower or easier for total beginner please. I am not experienced enough.
I love the ability to change the speed of the video when I feel it's going too fast...works great! 😉
You can speed up or slow down using the settings on your app 😊
They're lovely. Thank you for your tutorial
