Obviously Golden Gate is massive beast of a park… but Buena Vista is the quiet gem nestled right before the Haight Ashbury. I remember many good sit downs and trips here. Thanks for posting. ✌️ peace and health.

Is this the only park like this in the city in this part of town? The reason I ask is when I was little my dad drove up a hill which I think was in this general area of the city and wound up in a parking area next to a wooded area with a view of the city towards the north. Never knew the name and I'm not sure if it was a park or a tree grove with a trail through it. Any chance someone might know what I'm talking about?

Wow, I just learned that this is indeed the oldest park in San Francisco since 1867. It was first named Hill Park. That's a trivia!

I live near this area and can confirm that it is incredibly pretty. In my opinion, it is a Mecca for birdwatchers in San Francisco. Lots of jays, squirrels, and coyotes live here.

I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or not- there’s a lot of trees at this park. The view is blocked because of the trees but you still get a good view. The area on the top is good place to meditate. Overall it’s worth the hike. Thank you for sharing your video.
