I was trying to keep ESC output % between 70-90% as suggested in hobbywing manual, so I went the other way and tried a 19T pulley. Maybe my thinking is all wrong. With a 22T I would be at 61% @ 1800 HS, 68% @ 2000 HS and 75% @ 2200HS. 19T was giving 71% @1800, 79% @2000 and 87% @ 2200. As you said this is no putt putt motor. Cheers.
I run a 22 pinion and a 85% flat in the hobby wing 200 with a 550 kv it's a beast now to small a pinion will cause head bogging and tail issues but it depends what kv your running check the sab manual if your using the same motor I would recommend the 22 pinion
Yup me to first helicopter I really had to touch the cyclic gains on.my 580 kraken was fine ,one thing that could have caused it is the 580 had thunder bolt blades on it and the raw 700 has the new style s line blades that get wider as they reach the tip.

I have not checked it yet my friend has a head speed device but we have not checked it yet ,but it's flying awesome with the 22 tooth pinion, I'll let you know as soon as we check it
Hi Ray im abusing my massive Nano s3 Hard and im lured…. 😋 In a Puppy tame Setup is this a 450‘s better half for Training? I got a 420 im hitting the wet with at the Moment Or should i get a piuma rather?
I just bought one used couldn’t beat the price. I’m currently setting it up and will be tuning it soon. Thanks for the great advice.

I just got the nitro raw and have had to tune the cycle gains a lot to get rid of the cyclic wobble in certain maneuvers on the ikon

@@nitrokyosho yep usually if anything with the ikon I’m turning the gains up a little.

Is that motor the 4530-550? Do you need to up the pinion for that motor?
Yes I put a 22 pinion but it depends what kind of headspeed your looking for
