Heart shattered, all over again. This show is kind of amazing in the sense that they make you truly care about characters in a matter of 1-2 episodes and their deaths feel impactful. Sam was such a gut punch. When Ellie tried using her blood on Sams bite, part of me was like if this works, it’s almost more unbelievable than fungus people, but the other part was just thinking omg please please work!! So tragic. And just a note on Sam just sitting there at the end, in an earlier episode Joel tells Ellie the infected can’t see but they can hear. Since Sam was already deaf and got infected he wouldn’t have been able to hear anything to guide him where to go so Ellie’s tap gave him something to grab onto. And then poor Henry, the only time he’s physically violent in the apocalypse is when he has to kill his brother to save Ellie. Can’t blame him for not being able to deal with that, Sam was all he had in the world. This show sure likes to rip out our hearts and stomp on them! Look forward to episode 6! Oh and also as always the cuts/edits were top notch lol nice little moments of levity!
OMG!! i couldn’t take this part!! My heart was broken! How dare this show make me feel such a bond with the characters to kill them off like that!!! I was hoping the blood would work 😩And Thank you!!!!
