I think those giant dahlias will look lovely as a long stemmed single flower bouquet. It would look beautiful with a touch of structured greenery inside a bottle neck or bedside table vase. Simple quick, elegant.

Love, love, love all the flowers! My zinnia seeds are 90% stolen by chipmunks and squirrels. Same with sunflowers! I planted some zinnias in pots this year so I can cut some for myself!

I planted cosmos for the first time. I planted them in a row and one plant started to look different. It’s the breakout surprise of my 3rd serious year of gardening. It is Mexican marigold. I did grow the smaller variety of marigold from seed but I know I didn’t buy that variety. A seed snuck in on me and I’m so glad. They are gorgeous 😊

You inspire me!!!! I started my very first cut flower garden this year, in Independence, Missouri, something I’ve wanted to do for many years. I put in a 4’x8’ raised bed with Zinnias, sunflowers, marigolds and baby’s breath, and a few Bells of Ireland. I’m learning a lot from you. I am growing them to always have cut flowers in the house, or something to give away as a caring gift.
Ian and Serina are amazing, aren’t they? Also check out Nicole at Flower Hill Farm. I also started a cutting flower garden this year, but it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I have beautiful zinnias, but not much else, lol. Maybe next year.

The amaranth are amazing too. The leaves are edible and are considered a superfood in the Indian subcontinent - it's becoming the new 'in' thing right now! Sell them in bags as a super food leaf salad!!!! Also if u can wiat till the seeds dry the grain is a super nutritious ancient grain

Right !! we eat the amaranth leaves.. they tastes like spinach .
Yes! When you strip the leaves off, keep them so you can sell as gourmet lettuce/ spinach. Great with garlic, shallots & wine vinegar!👌
