Thanks for the side by side. 🥰 We are Math Lessons for a Living Education family, but I have never seen the inside of BJU math. I have used BJU English in the past though. God bless ❤
Thank you so much for watching. Did you like BJU English? I haven't used any of their materials, but I seem to be drawn to it when I'm researching options.
We prefer workbooks. TGTB has decimals and fractions in level 4 and I believe they will in level 3 wen it comes out. Out of these 2 I’d choose masterbooks for my kids but it doesn’t look fun but if it works better it’s worth it. BJU looks more difficult.
So would you say Masterbooks is great for kids who need a little more time getting a concept and BJU is better for a child that gets math quickly and hates lingering on a topic to long? I have two children that fit both of these scenarios.
Ava. I’ve used BJU press for my kids for many years and I can say that it is thorough but way too many problems. I would suggest that students do every other problem.
I always like to see and hear about other curriculum and this was a great comparison and flip through! Thank you!
Thank you so much!

@@HomeschoolwithJen it was a really good curriculum, but just a little too dry and text bookie for my liking. We used it for 2nd grade.
You always give excellent curriculum walk throughs!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your encouragement.

I totally agree that we need to use whatever works best for our child! Thank you for watching.

This is a great summary. BJU definitely moves quicker and has more problems on an individual day. MB definitely is a more gentle approach to math.
