You two always brighten my day. Such BEAUTIFUL country! But what makes it even better is the personality you two have, never taking anything for granted, living and experiencing life to the fullest. I can't wait to see what adventure is next.
Awe!! Thank you for your kind words. To hear those words is why we do what we do. To be an example of the good Lord’s light. We love to share our adventures. Especially to those who can’t travel and to be able to take them with us. Thank you so much for joining us! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
We love Durango! Our friends live there. We rode the train to Silverton and our friends picked us up there. It is a beautiful journey. We also did Jeep trails with them to very scary places but Bruce loved it. The bike trail is awesome. You guys are funny as you are NOT “slowing your roll. “ LOL.
@@karlamartins2761 You are so right! We didn’t slow our roll, just the roll of the rig. 😂 Glad this video brought back some great and even scary memories for you both 😅It’s a fun place! Has something for everyone! Thanks for coming along with us 🚂❤️
Another fun video, y'all! We rode the Durango to Silverton train (it was a bucket list thing) in 2014. We had been to Durango many times, watched trains come and go while eating at McDonald's (part of the reason I have hardened arteries 😢) and never rode the train. The only difference when we did it was we took the bus to Silverton then rode train back. That allowed more time to shop and grab lunch before returning to Durango. Grabbing lunch was a bit of a daunting proposition, that's for sure! Too many people and not enough tables. We sure met a lot of nice people! The Durango and Silverton (previously the Denver and Rio Grande Western) has been used in a lot of Hollywood Westerns. Night Passage was one of them. We've never done the hot springs (we never knew about them). That looked really relaxing! Hope y'all had a chance to stop in Silverton on the way out to Ouray. We're waiting for your next video! Safe travels and God bless y'all! Bob and Dottie
Hello Bob and Dottie, thank you for joining us once again! It amazes us that you have been everywhere we have gone. Actually we are going everywhere you have already been. Like we have said before our lives parallel in different times. We love when you share your memories. It warms our hearts. We are heading to Canada British Columbia Vancouver Island. We leave Thursday starting Season 8, “Over The Hill Adventures Goes Over The Boarder.” Blessings to you both, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Y'all have a wonderful trip! We went to Vancouver BC in 1999 to attend a Natural Zeolite Conference. We had a wonderful time. The folks there were really friendly. I went to a pub with some of the meeting participants for some refreshments. Next to us were some locals telling American jokes. They were absolutely hilarious! We were laughing along with them, so they invited us over to join them. We enjoyed their jokes immensely! Imagine their horror when they found out we were Americans! 😂😂 They apologized profusely, but we assured them they were right on the money and that they should send them to Jay Leno. We bought them a round and, after some more humor, parted company friends. They had never met any Americans and were favorably impressed. Vancouver is a beautiful city. Hope y'all can go to Victoria. That's another beautiful place! Looking forward to the continued adventures! Bob and Dottie
Hi Tim, we really like where we stayed is was very quiet. If you ever get a chance you must try the Durango Hot Springs. This whole adventure put a smile on my face! Thank you for joining us! Blessings, Stan and Rhonda 🙏🏼❤️

As I’m watching this! We’re camping in Apple Island RV resort on Lake Champlain in Vermont. Has rained almost every day, but it’s all good in our 5th wheel. Managed to hit a beautiful museum today for a few hours, going back tomorrow. Shelburne Museum in Burlington Vermont. 🥰 totally enjoyed this video, amazing! Thank you!
Hello Barbara, thank you for joining us! We hope we have brought you a little ray of sunlight. Safe travels! Thank you for the tip on the museum! Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
We love Durango! Great video! We have never taken our bikes up there - something new for us. 😊 Last time we were on that train our girls were little. Such sweet memories! ❤ I laughed when you said you were taking the million dollar highway on the mountain side - it has cliff on both sides of the road in various spots. The road is just so nerve-wracking!!!
@@Roadtripmischief You are right about it. being nerve wracking AND there being a cliff on both sides, lol We were told we would be on the mountain side, but on the way up it was cliff side 😅
I just found your channel this weekend and have enjoyed your videos, but Stan, please wear your seat belt. Hi Teresa! Some mountain biking trails are fun, but those steep ones are a challenge for me (Rhonda). I took a crash a few years ago and it’s never been the same for me so I’m with you 👏 Thanks for watching!
You drove right past my favorite breakfast spot…the Durango Diner. A must whenever my wife and I go to Durango.
Darn! I wish we knew that before we left! 😄 We were searching for a good place to eat. Thanks for sharing so others can find one 👏
We did Durango, the train, and Mesa Verde last year on our way back from Moab Utah. We loved it there.
