Northeastern, northwestern and southwestern Ohio have primarily Federal Signal 2001-SRNB siren models. Southeast Ohio has all Whelen series. The Federal Signal brands are so super loud!
Wilmington, Ohio has all Whelen, and there are very few, one to three Whelen sirens in southwest, northwest and northeast Ohio

I used to be scared of these things. Especially the 7 SRNBs. They used to give me the chills whenever there was a tornado warning, but now I am an enthusiast and don't get scared at all.

mike ray IDK. Whenever a siren goes off in my town, I am always running for my electronics and warning my parents of a tornado!

Tornado warnings for me sound creepy. The Whelen ESC-2030 560hz Dual Tone controllers give the 2910s by me a weird ambience. Even with a faint, dying T-Bolt, it is still creepy.
