Great job man! overall design is very practical and easy to access. it will be better to put all small ice drill and rachetes into a small container for stormy weather.
Thanks a lot man! Easy access was definitely what I was going for. I like the accessibility of the ice anchors and ratchet straps on the side of the sled so I’m not having to dig through everything to find them when we find our spot to put up the tent. With everything being out in the open like it is, it makes setup so much easier and less stressful. I also find myself not forgetting as much crap at home or out on the ice anymore as well since everything has its own place in the sled.
Thank you very much! I’m actually building another much bigger Smitty Sled at the moment and going into more detail on the build. I’ll upload the video as soon as possible!
Thank you! I actually added them on all of my rods. It’s super easy. I made a video of how to do it if that’s something you’d be interested in doing. Here’s the link for it 😁 How To: Making a Permanent JawJacker Loop On Any Ice Fishing Rod th-cam.com/video/acjZ1lHYOws/w-d-xo.html
Thank you! I actually made a video just for your comment. Sorry for the late reply. But here’s the video How To: Making a Permanent JawJacker Loop On Any Ice Fishing Rod th-cam.com/video/acjZ1lHYOws/w-d-xo.html
Fish much ?, I really like the tent screw peg arrangement, it's amazing how the bottom of the sled is so clear of all the loose crap I have all over the bottom of mine, wich is always buried under more crap
Thank you. I’m actually in the process of building another one that’s going to be a lot bigger because I have A LOT more stuff to put in the sled now. Including a 27” monitor for the aqua vue… I’ll make a video of it when it’s ready.
Wonderful setup...I've been ice fishing more than 50 years and have seen many well designed sled set-ups but this one of the best...
Thank you very much! That really means a lot! I’m glad you liked the video 😁

Great setup! Thanks for sharing this. I’m definitely including some of these ideas in my own build.
Thank you! I’m really glad I could help!
Awesome job dude! Glad you’re sharing all of your DIY inventions. I wish I was there to take it out on the ice with you!
Thanks a lot man! I wish you were too, hope you’re doing good dude!
Nice build! What kind of shovel is that?
Very cool man!!! I like it. You put a lot of thought into it. 👍🎣🇺🇸
Thank you! It works out pretty well for sure 😁

Thank you! You and me both! It’s going to be a great season!
Cool organization!
Thank you!
Can you post an up close photo of your rod storage without rods in them? I'm looking for ideas for my sled. Pretty nice setup you have there!
Can you list the parts that u built this with? I wanna make this!
Great video, thanks for posting. Where did you get the jawjacker loops and did you add those on there yourself?

This guy looks like he knows what draging a dead body thru snow feels like
lol don’t tell anyone 😉
Yay
GG
😊
Get yourself a pair of (Olympic jumping skis) I think they’re like 12 feet long you’ll be able to bring everything😂
nice set up but i would not trust the plastic rings on the propane cylinders
I actually just replaced those using pieces of those black rubber bungee cords and the S hooks that come with them. Guaranteed not to break now 😁
Looks a bit tipsy but a cool build
